:rofl Now thats funny, Cain is gonna get ****in' stomped. I'm sorry but if Carwin didn't KO Lesnar then Cain certainly won't. Watch Brock pick this twat up and break him in half. Cain has nothing to offer, WAY over hyped, even for the UFC!
Cains too small. He cant compete with these boys. The ****in Octagon was shaking tonight. That first Brock takedown attemp when both went to the ground, that was amazing. Cain would get run over. If Carwin hits Cain, (and Cain has been hurt by Kongo) hes gonna leave on a stretcher.
Yeah, Velasquez couldn't stop Kongo despite landing 8.3million clean head shots, but now he's going to KO a guy who ate Shane Carwin's best for several minutes. Go sober up.
JDS is a much bigger threat to Lesnar than Velasquez. I knew that Brock would have to get it to the ground and to his credit he did just that in the second round and won.
He is but what if Lesnar takes JDS down and theres not one iota of a doubt in my mind that he will. What happens next? I really hope Dos Santos is "that" special of a fighter.
Like everyone else says Cain gets eaten alive i don't see what he brings to a fight with Brock that he does better than him.
Brock hasn't the milage Nog had when Cain fought him. I really hope you are NOT judging Cain by THAT fight. Nog is half dead now and would have ripped Cains arm off back in 2003/2004. Beating a half dead horse isn't like beating a monster Viking who is twice your size!
Cain has no power? That's silly. We won't know if he's a harder hitter than Carwin until they have a common opponent on their ledgers.
JDS may not be quite as heavy handed as Carwin but he is faster and more accurate. He has a black belt in BJJ although he obviously prefers to keep it standing. Lesnar will have to take Dos Santos down to have a chance to win. The problem is that that is easier said than done. But tonight is Lesnar's night. He was simply incredible in this fight. Instead of being the bully boy from the start he was a **** hair away from being stopped and nevertheless came back in the very next round and won. A beautiful night of fights. Best $45 I've spent in a very long time to watch it. Leben and Bonnar were outstanding too.
Cain has no ko power... We're talking about Cain "Velasquez" right ? ... His most impressive victory is against a zombified , shot fighter. (nogueira)..But giving props for this one , would be like giving pros to Briggs for his victory over Foreman. Nogueira isn't in his mid 40's like Randy...But he's already shot. Knowing this...and based, on all of cain's previous fights. Especially the ones vs Rothwell , Kongo & Stojnic...It's safe to say that he has no apparent ko power. He's endurant though. And he tkos his opponents because he attacks them non-stop. but it's an accumulation of punishment... A bit like Povetkin. (in boxing).. Of course i'm not comparing their striking skills..(since Cain is just a wrestler)...But like Povetkin , he stalks his opponents , and outlasts them..and attacks them as much as possible. He also seems to have a good chin. He was cliped several times by Kongo & survived..(then again Kongo isn't a ko artist anyway , but certainly a better striker than the likes of Carwin or Lesnar)
How does Rothwell "especially" show that Cain has no power? :huh This content is protected Those look pretty hard, and they were enough to cause Ben to completely stop defending himself intelligently for three seconds - long enough to have it taken out of his hands - and every single blow is delivered from an awkward position leaning against the cage and with Rothwell's weight pulling down on him, making it very difficult to get any leverage on them whatsoever. This is Ben Rothwell, a veteran of 38 fights, who's been in with a fair share of punchers, and the only other times he's ever been stopped by punches was a huge right hand that he didn't see coming when exhausted, delivered by Andrei Arlovski. Arlovski, who - love him or hate him, like it or not - does have some of the better boxing among recent MMA heavyweights. O'Brien's another example: This content is protected Cain is battering him defenseless with more or less arm punches. That's a sign of strength, when arm punches get the job done (like with Vitali Klitschko in boxing, who himself is not a one-punch KO type of guy but is incredibly strong and hurts you with an accumulation of what are more or less power punches but damaging coming from him). O'Brien is also another example of someone who has been in with punchers, but the only other person to ever stop him via punches was Arlovski. Cain may not have what we think of as stone-cold KO power in boxing, to put someone out for the count (on the other hand he very well may, if he ever gets somebody squared up long enough to land flush on their chin while standing up). The fact still remains that almost every single one of his wins has come because the opponent could not withstand his punches.
