Cain is technically a better striker than Carwin. A fair bit faster than Lesnar and is also a very good wrestler in his own right. Also has brilliant stamina. Guy can go all day.

It remains to be seen whether or not Cain is faster than Lesnar. Velazquez' only chance is to kickbox lesnar and try to stay away from him all night. I don't think he can keep Brock off for five full wrongs. Brock will eventually take him down and ground him into hamburger. Velazquez does not have the submissions in his arsenal to win this fight.

I don't know but when I see lesnar fight I just get the feeling that he is not that good. He looks so beatable. Carwin kick his steroid ass in that first round. Carwin needs to get his heart checked. Damn he gets tired fast. Lesnar will lose to velasquez. Lesnar is just to white to be good.

Cain may or may not be faster, but he clearly has better handspeed, at least functionally. Cain can put punches together much better than Brock and has the better technical striking (Nog fight shows that).

Cain wins this fight if he can keep it standing, or if he can scramble and get out from bottom position back to his feet. On his back I feel he'll be more agile than Carwin (though I cant remember seeing either of them fight from their back) so maybe he'll be able to escape if Brock takes him down.

On his feet Lesnar probably has a power advantage but Cain is much crisper. Cain can win this if he can stay on his feet, possibly get a decent combination or strong left hook in and floor Lesnar. If Cain can get on top he can be a huge problem for Lesnar. Sure he wasn't able to finish Congo, but he rode Congo the entire fight and could possibly finish Lesnar from the top, you just never know.

Then again, Congo's ground game is absolute dog ****.

I will be putting my money where my mouth is - Velasquez will be the one to stop Lesnar. Velasquez by TKO first round he will finish what Carwin should of.

Cain is a much faster striker guys -- faster than Carwin and Lesnar. Cain has scary speed combined with power.

You're an obvious Lesnar hater. If lesnar immediately goes for a takedown, Cain is finished. If Brock is dumb and wants to trade, than Cain has a decent shot, but I don't see him making that mistake against a good striker again.

The fact I think he's a douche bag is irrelevant - I think he will lose so im going to capitalize on it - if you think otherwise put your money where your mouth is and capitalize on it.

There's a chance but I don't see Cain as the one to do it. I never bet on fights but I'm rarely wrong when I've been paying attention to the 2 fighters prior to the fight. Lesnar will take him down and smother him with relative ease.

I give Cain a great chance if he keeps on his feet. I dont wanna go off just one fight but vs Nogueira id say Cain looked very sharp and fast with his striking very fluid while Brock doesnt look comfertable on his feet once a clean shot comes he doesnt react well. Id probably say Cain is a better wrestler p4p but that wont help him on fight night because hes giving up alot of size and power if Lesnar wants this on the ground theres a damn good chance hes taking it there and once hes on top its going to be pretty ****ing hard to stop him. If Cain was Lesnar's size id say he takes this easily just like id have said with Couture or Mir but size does make up alittle for what Brock is lacking in technique. I like Brock by TKO in 2.

If Cain's standup is as good as people are proclaiming it to be - he wouldn't have been the one getting dropped by Kongo. Cain had to fight as a grappler in that fight on account of almost having his clock cleaned by Kongo. I don't think Velazquez can keep Brock off of him for the entire fight. I don't even think he can keep him away for one complete round. Velzaquez does not have the power to finish Brock and doesn't have the grappling or submission ability to catch Lesnar in anything. The SMART money is on Brock Lesnar via TKo.

When you have fought as few times as Cain has its hard to really put much stock into what happened multiple fights ago. First off Kongo sucks but hes a better striker then Lesnar is and 2 about 9 months went between that fight and the Nogueira fight. Now yes Nogueira is well past his prime but I know good technique and fluidity when I see it. Cain did not just go out and throw a bunch of wild punches and stop Nog instead he set him up with beautiful leg kicks where he got tremendous hip turn on them and finished him with a very nice punch combo. Cain as is Brock are still some time off from fully developing IMO.
