I was talking with a friend yesterday and he had a very interesting theory. I want to qualify this thread as it IS NOT an accusation! I am merely bringing up a possibility. Does anybody else harbor suspicions that Brock Lesnar was caught taking a banned substance and the UFC is covering it up as an "illness" for long enough for him to get it out of his system and re-test? Very speculative, but this random "illness" is very suspicious and say he did test positive. Does anyone really think the UFC would go public with it? Now I know the athletic commissions test on their own, but does the UFC have internal drug tests for their champions and fighters? This would be a media nightmare and would send the Lesnar hype train into a crashing hault. What does everyone think?
I have no idea if he has been caught with anything and it would be wild speculation to accuse somebody of something like that with no proof. However, for anybody who thinks the UFC would disclose the information if Lesnar did test positive is naive.
Doubt it. It doesnt take months to get hormones out of your system. Brock has a type of Herpes. Now dependant on the variant there's no way he can fight if it is in his blood as he could affect another opponent and surely wouldnt pass any mandatory medicals.
Considering the suspension would be for a year, would be made public, would have to be taken to appeal to get it reduced in time for the fight to happen even at the back up date, which would again have to be made public; its a load of **** not worth discussing. How is this illness mysterious at all? It's winter in Minnesota, he spends the majority of his day in contact with sweaty men, there is a high amount of Flu this year. What about that screams "There is a government conspiracy to cover up a private companies employee testing positive for steroids"? Honestly, what, in any way, makes his illness mysterious?
Aparently he has mono which is caused by espstin-barr. The issue would be more than mono can basically sap all of your energy. If he does have mono then it would take him months to recover properlly to be able to train.
Lesnars not big enough for the UFC to do that. Now had that been Chuck Liddell 4 years ago then there could have been a conspiracy
