Don’t get it? Chang was a technical fighter, a Ward-esque clinch game, capable of herky jerky backfoot boxing, great counter puncher, as well as a horrible swarming force. He was capable of beating all stylists too, from bangers like Ursua and Torres, to technicians like Chitalada and Zapata.

I wouldn’t say Khan or Broner were necessarily more skilled than Maidana. Khan was pre-Garcia but Khan has always been about his raw athletic gifts rather than actual technical ability.

Broner a fighter who tries to give off the appearance of being skilled and with Garcia at least Maidana had finally honed his skill set (hence why he was able to set a trap for Floyd in their rematch and counter punch the master counter puncher)

Dennis Andres! Not technical at all but as strong as a ox and as hard as nails. Broke a lot of hearts with his toughness.
