An analysis based on Martinez losing to Margarito 10 years ago? Both men are top fighters, one of them might get a clear victory but neither is going to get mauled.

OH! ****! That was a hell of a right hand! ****, that is serious power I hope somebody recorded that and put that on YouTube. That's an impressive KO, especially being from the Amateur ranks!

Williams has more skills. I think Martinez is over rated, but has some heart and toughness in him.

    Two possible out comes.

1 ) Williams does a paint job on Martinez.

2 ) The smug Williams is forced into a rough fight, and gets exposed for having little toughness / durability.

I think option #1 is more likely.

You think Sergio Martinez is an "American-level bum"? Well what does that make Kelly Pavlik?

Its not solely based on the Margo fight, just the only sample I can find when someone goes for his body.

Today Margo most likely wont be able to get to Sergio's body if he tried, but Williams does have just enough speed and the range to initiate the body attack from the outside.

I think Martinez is more adaptable being the more slick smart boxer type. I expect him to win.

Martinez by KO. Ima be putting some money on him for this one. Its close to even money so you gotta take this.

one thing I will gurantee is Williams's wont get TKO'd

Martinez landed haymaker after haymaker on Williams in the first and was never close to Ko'ing him

Sergio By KO. Williams is not the same dangerous man he was and he lacks the confidence in his chin to use the video game A,B,A,B,A,B that he normally employs that makes him soe dangerous.

Williams is boxing now and not overwhelming which leaves more chances to get at William's leaky defense.

By that same logic, though - Williams landed some nasty uppercuts on a tiring Martinez and didn't knock him out...

12 rounds is probably a safe bet either way, IMO.
