IMO, his most complete performance was agianst Sidorenko. He never got the stoppage by sensational one shot KO, but he systematically broke the other guy down with a variety of punches, never let up with his jab, and fired the right hand when needed. Sidorenko was a bloody mess in the end. That's the Donaire that we need to see. The guy that fought Vazquez and Mathebula was so i-love with his power.
I think it all depends on what will Nishioka show on fight night.. Sydorenko never backed down, never covered that's why he was stopped.. Vasquez was doing the Narvaez fight plan which is the tight guard and the occasional jabs.. Donaire needed to open himself up in order to have a real fight.. As a result, Vasquez busted his face.. Mathebula was backing down and keeping Donaire with jabs and combination.. So my guess is, it all depends on Nishioka.. :smoke
I agree, so far we've seen that Nishi has balls. He traded against power puncher Marquez. Hopefully he'll open up against Donaire as well.
