    I've noticed my power decrease from losing weight. Is there any truth to this or is it placebo?

    you can lose power from losing weight and you can lose power from gaining weight.

    force is defined as mass x acceleration

    you will

    depends. i have noticed at lower weights my punches feel more powerful maybe because of the speed, but I would sacrifice some power for some added stamina.

    As small said
    Momentum = Mass X Velocity
    Less Mass = Less power

    Depends.. i honestly a whole book i can write to teach you the physics side of Boxing but once again as Small said this is the base of the Total output. The total output can and is changed by many other variables

    No, there's no direct connection between weight loss and power loss assuming the weight loss was gradual and that the weight was fat, not muscle. It all depends upon how the weight was lost...
