First person to mention Rocky Marciano or JCC gets their asses kicked. :nono

I've always found unbeaten streaks interesting. Sometimes it's a obvious ploy to get a fighter to a certain undefeated level for a massive payday, and then whatever happens afterwords is irrelevant. Several fighters were promised million dollar paydays with George Foreman during his comeback if they could go 10 something and 0, and more then one fighter out of Denmark and Europe have done similar things.

Ruben Castillo went 47-0 before running into Alexis Arguello.

Ramon Campas was 56-0 when he met Trinidad.

Don Steele was a regional fighter in the Midwest that went 41-0 with 41 KO's soley to get a big payday over in Denmark against Brian Nielsen. Nielsen himself was 58-0 I believe and retired with a 64-2.

Sean O' Grady went 29-0 before meeting Lopez and then 73-1 before going against Jim Watt.

So, who comes to mind for you?

Samson Dutch Boy. 46-0 over a 10 year span, a ridiculous amount of defenses of some kinder suprise title.

Hardly impressive though considering the trash he beat to get that record. Though he did catch guys like Genero Garcia, Cruz Carjabal and some filo who faced Vic at flyweight for his title when they were coming up.
Also beat Mahmutov who was one of the better european flyweights around for years.
Some other guy he fought went on to hold a title Im pretty sure aswell, cant recall who though.

For the most part his record was as padded as 1980's shoulder however.

Yeah, I've been trying to learn a little about Samson lately but info's hard to come by. His resume makes Galaxy's look great in comparison, though.

But who knows, he could of been a solid fighter who simply chose to rest on his alphabet title and collect paydays in his backyard.

Ive got some film of him when he was still in Muay Thai. I believe he stops Sahaprom in one of them.
Ive heard some argue who know about this type of stuff that overall he is the level below the top tier thai fighters of both sports.

I honestly cannot recall ever seeing a boxing match with him though.

Hen "Chicken Game" Pearce, Barekuck champ. Perfect record 7-0 with 7 knockouts.

Retire while still champ. And never made a come back.

172 fights in a row without a loss, I think. But to me Packey McFarland's series is more impressive, because he never lost a newspaper decision (ie, having majority of writers vote against him). Including his last official fight, which is listed as 0-1-1 on newspaper count right now, would be about 15-9-4 in his favor, from the decisions I've seen listed on that fight.
