Not true. Pac was definitely as good as he is now when he faced Marquez, IMO.

Pac does good with big guys because they cannot handle his speed. Pac was every bit as good against Marquez but Marquez could handle it...Pac still won, but Marquez will ALWAYS be his equal, head to head.

 

What I don't understand is why Margarito didn't even attempt to use movement while Pac battered him with combo's. What kind of strategy is it to stay in one place and take all of it if you're not even going to try and throw a well timed counter to disrupt the flow.

Its a testament to JMMs greatness who I believe is 1 and 1 with Pacquaio. He'll always be Pacs nemesis but Pac wasnt quite this good when he fought JMM, not a big difference but his right hand wasnt this sharp. Hes hitting everyone with that right now and his lateral movement flanking his oppenents has never been better.

Also important to note that JMM cannot deal with a 140-147 version of Manny and he will look worse than what Floyd did to him. This is why I never gave Floyd too much cradit for the Marquez win just coz the fact that Pac would have done better. JMm is too sluggish at 140 above.

But JMM to me is the best out of the big 3
