I just feel like if it is over early Golovkin wins, his chin is too good to get blown away early. I'm not sleeping on the quality of Canelo's chin either, but I am convinced GG will come out like a man possessed in this one. Definitely not putting money on it though, I just can't when Canelo is involved due to those tricky cards.
Paid off judges got him close in a fight he probably didn't win a round. That is what the odds were based off, as well as the casuals who bet and knew nothing about Bivol.
Golovkin has very little hope to win, but it's unlikely to be done in 4 or 5 rounds IMHO. He still has power to make Canelo cautious, and is very durable, and has a good jab to keep Canelo at distance. Canelo's body shots may well stop him in the second half of the fight, but i'd be surprised if it ended before round 6. Also I don't think Canelo is at his peak anymore either (although obviously much closer to it than Golovkin).
GGG should do the exact opposite. Canelo has to come to him this fight or ge is going to look stupid standing at distance waiting for GGG to engage. For once GGG will be able to counter attack without issue. He would be smart to force Canelo to initiate the exchanges.
Very well said. The reason I think that it won't last six is that Alvarez is a killer. I believe that once he smells some weakness in Golovkin he will go for the finish and I just don't believe Triple G has enough to hold him off.
