he struggled with nathan cleverly who according to most on here is a mediocre fighter and undeserving of being called a world champion.
he hasn't beaten anyone of note, so please dont bring mcintoshs name up honestly beating mccintosh doesn't mean your a world class talent. cleverly beat maccintosh back when mccintosh was unbeaten and no one went overboard on that occasion. its funny how people on here diminish nathan and big up bellew whenever they can even when cleverlys accomplish far more then bellew. facts are facts he hasn't beaten anyone near world level he's struggled and lost a close decision to a mediocre champion. his power is nothing special. he's been shown up by guys like ajisafe and mckenzie.

No wonder boxers don't come on here any more. What a stupid ****ing post and it gave me headache trying to make sense of it. Did you go to school you semi literate cretin?

Think I'm gunna start giving this place the wide berth I reckon.

Good post, what has Bellew proven so far, he won the British by running from a journey man then lost to Cleverly a fringe world level fighter at best :think

To be honest I don't rate Cleverly that highly, really good fighter but let's be honest not a world champion. Sure Bellew is good but just a bit inconsistant. Having said that I don't think he's THAT good and I agree really. Good fighter but not a truly world class fighter, i.e top 5. Sounds like he gave Cleverly trouble though and probably deserves a rematch.

    Fair comment really!

Bellew went up in my estimations after fighting Cleverley, he proved he is pretty much on the same level, probably hovering on the edge of World level with Cleverley slightly edging it!
