 I was actually trying to speak for the neutral and non-fans of Bomber when mentioning the Clev fight. Should have been more clear. I'm a fan of Tony and always believed he'd give Clev a good go.

if he had such fluid skills as people like to say the cleverly fight would have been won by a large margin, if he had the devestating knockout power he would have finished cleverly who was stood in front of him the whole night. Hes a 30 year old hes not 20 where seeing the best of him right now
None of you pricks are able to repudiate any of my statements, so many people on this forum come out with outlandish remarks and all of this is based on his personality. when i read comments that tony bellew has a chance against fighters like gabriel campillo and even cloud based on beating danny mccintosh i dont know whether to laugh or cry

Clev's just about world class. It's going to be hard to outpoint him by a large margin because of his attributes (speed/engine). So the only way you're going to make a big statement is by knocking him out. Tony ****ed his hand in the second, so knocking Clev out was going to be difficult.

We are potentially seeing the best of Tony but he's improved in each of his last three fights so who's to say he won't get any better?

Im not sure id use the term " fluid skills " , but technically Tony is very sound , to know this you'd have to know how to punch technically ??? :yep

As far as Bellew beating the worlds best .............. he's fought Cleverly only and lost a pretty clear decision in my mind , close but clear , he acquitted himself well and shown in flashes that he can punch / box , and it brought out the better side of his ability , based on that performance , him beating any of the top 5 - 8 in the world might be a stretch !! , but that depends on who and how you rank the best in the world

I still think he's kidding himself @175 and would love to see a 190 - 195 lb Tony Bellew fit and healthy at Cruiser

I think you need to go a little more in depth in your posts big guy , you sound a bit like a one line hater

Top post mate, Bellew is saying that he beat Cleverley  if we look at the facts Cleverley gave Bellew a shot at his title in liverpool which he did'nt deserve FACT and even if Bellew did get robbed why give the decision to Cleverley when clearly Bellew is the far bigger ticket seller it would of made far more financial sense to give Bellew the nod :think

No evidence, mate, just first hand accounts. Tony didn't want to bring it up post-fight because it'd distract away from what was a good fight. It did crop up though after Clev saying he was injured (think it was a bad back or something, can't remember).

i think he seems to be one of the nicest guys in brit boxing, and the op was a bit ott for me, but had good points. at the moment hes euro level, i dunno what the fallout with frank is but in my eyes hes done well to get a world title chance and needs to build his way to another.

Doesn't Bellew have pain killing injections in his hands before a fight YES he does and he says he can't feel a thing fight night. The guy is a poor loser.
