    Crazy when you think about it... 147 is the Welterweight limit of course, Linares was 154 on fight night which would be totally realistic for a welterweight to put on 7 pounds during rehydration. This for me makes the win 2x more special.

    Um, no. Real welterweights generally come in at 160+.

    Linares didn't look that big and really it didn't help his punch power if he did cuz he is feather fisted.

    He aint feather fisted... hes got some power in there, of course he is far from being a power puncher but he definitely isn't feather fisted.

    He's a pretty light hitter. Hell even that straight right which was perfection for him, barely did much to Loma.

    These are the type of considerations a fighter and his team need to make when they move up weight classes.

    No-one said this game was ever going to be easy.
