I was surprised by the scoring of the fight last night. Everyone here who knows me knows that I am admittedly as biased as it gets when it comes to Paul And I do have trouble scoring his fights, which is why I rarely post a scorecard for any of his fights. As far as last night? I had the fight 7-5 for Lara, and again, I am pretty biased. I know a lot of people are pretty upset by the decision, but one thing you shouldn't do is blame Paul personally. He came to fight, and fought to the very very end, not once hesitant in his wilingness to engage. He gave it his best, and that's really all you can ask of him. As far as his trainers, managers, promoters, etc? I'll leave that to you experts. :good
That what is all about at the end of the day man! Keep your head up NBA, being a fan of Paul Williams is nothing to be shamed of.:thumbsup If there wasnt fans like you boxing would be dying.
You like Hayes body dont you, you small, limp penises having degenerate lmao. You like his muscles too huh??? To each his own. I ain't mad at ya. Drop da Soap anytime right
I had the scoring close to your, but lemme take a stab here and guess you had round 6 for PW? I had that round even, so mine was 7-4, 116-113 for Lara
Had it 9-3 for Lara but I can see how it could have been 7-5 since two rounds could've gone either way. Paul shouldn't take a large chunk of the blame but I do think he should be held accountable to a certain degree. People respect honesty. Paul was not honest about his feelings. Admitting defeat doesn't make one less of a warrior. A real warrior shows passion about redemption and finds a way to earn respect. He did not earn my respect because he admitted on camera that he needed a KO to win in the late rounds, didn't score one, and still stated that he won the fight. He lied.
I do agree with that. The last time I can remember someone manning up was in an mma match with rampage and machida. rampage won decision, but admitted in the ring, octagon, cage...whatever, that he lost. I wonder how many times someone has actually admitted to losing after a bad decision? maybe one of you guys that are used to making threads and getting responses could make that thread?
:good If I were Paul, I will hand my belt over to Lara and make a bad statement about the judges. Screw the judges.
That's what I say. Don't blame the fighter, blame judges, commision, promoter with the influence etc.
You're not a fighter ya fat ass slob, and he doesn't have the mindset of a tub of lard like you. His mind isn't always on food
NBA you know i am a huge PW fan but what i saw last night was unacceptable! I blame PW to a certain degree but i blame Mr. Peterson for this foolishness!!! For Paul to come back in the ring with the same game plan he's had his entire career is absolutley crazy! The boxing game is about hit and not be hit! Period! The game plan that Mr. Peterson got Paul doing is just plain dumb! Someone with Pdubs phsyical attributes should not even be getting touched! I'll always be a huge fan even till his next KTFO bevause he is so prone for be on the negative end of the KO of the year!
