Khan can't survive the first 6 rounds against Canelo. He's too small to fight at 154.

How will Khan perform at 155? What do you think he will weigh-in at and do you think he will lose any speed?

Canelo doesn't need to be a huge puncher ... We are talking about Khan here! Canelo is going to bang his body and then shatter that mandible. One well placed shot on Khan's chin by Canelo will do it.

Boxing-Master stated that Canelo and Maidana are about equal in punching power. Well didn't Maidana almost have Khan out? You know Canelo can put punches together better than Maidana. So that's all he really needs, to hit as hard as maidana to get Khan stretched!

I think he'll do better than people are imagining. Cotto weighed in at around 161 IIRC for the Martinez fight. I can imagine Khan weighing in around 158, maybe.

I doubt he'd lose any significant hand-speed if he doesn't choose to straight bloat to make up in the weight difference.

He really needs to utilize his foot-work and study Lara, Trout, and Mayweather's fights.

The blue-print is there. Khan needs to do a perfect game-plan and choose not to linger on the inside after trading. Stick to small combinations and move right the hell out. Let Canelo be the aggressor. Use some of the clinch tactics on the inside that Hunter brought to his game to stop Canelo from advancing at will.

This is just off the top of my head, though.

Alvarez should give up the 160 lb. title and fight at 154. If he is not going to fight his mandatory fight. Is this the end of weight divisions? 155?! Jr. middleweight is only 1 lb. lower.......................no, El Pollo Alvarez is afraid to fight at legit 160 lb. fighter. Golovkin weighs-in at 159 everytime, so El Pollo Alvarez can surely gain 3 or 4 more lbs., he would outweigh Golovkin fight night anyway.................

canelo has enough power to ko genghglass khan in spectacular fashion, the casual boxing fans will eat it up and canelos ppv status will jump up further increasing his upper hand in negotiations for a future ggg fight.

    Prescott is a bigger puncher.

Against Garcia he simply ran into a punch because it was so easy for the first two rounds.

I can see Canelo winning this in about 10 just down to pure size , but not because of explosive power.

Saying that "Canelo for his size has pathetic puncher power" is honestly worse than saying "Canelo hits like a monster truck!"

Lot of his opponents are pretty skilled and durable or else there'd be a few more signs of power and stoppages in recent years. His volume and style clearly lead to less stoppages than others deemed to have great power on high TKO ratios... Canelo has good power on his punches.

Canelo doesn't need to be a heavy puncher to turn Khan's lights out.

Alvarez is heavy handed and he hits harder then Garcia.
