It's a waste of time trying to reason with these Floyd critics....

 

To clear the air, painting anyone who disagrees with you as a fanatic is certainly something that is necessary to stablize your fantasy world. A fantasy world where you apparently without a hint of irony ask "What was Maidana landing?" when there was zoomed in slow motion replays throughout the fight of punches landing that only a blind man could miss or a delusional one that doesn't occupy the same reality as everyone else.

Carry on with these threads, it only suggests to me that you are too emotionally invested in these fights and are using these threads attacking and generalizing other posters to deal with your own uncertainty. Just keep telling yourself that everyone who scored the fight closely or may have saw it Maidana's way is a fanatic that doesn't understand the sport and the images on the screen in slow motion are not real.

Your boy won a closely fought fight. With fights this close and competitive, there is going to be some dispute about who won, its normal and a part of boxing history. You aren't going to convince anyone Maidana didn't land anything and Mayweather obviously won with ease. You are the one that is crying and being disrespectful.

 

Clemens and Moretti were on Haymon's paycheck for giving rounds 2, 3 and 4 for Mayweather.

I gave 2 to Mayweather, but I still had Maidana winning 115-113. I knew Maidana wasn't getting the decision though, you are going to have near shut out Mayweather to get a narrow SD victory. As soon as Maidana slowed down and Mayweather landed a rights, I knew those middle rounds were in the bag for him. But giving 3-4 to May...that is absurd.

 

Just ignore him because he is damn right. You could have have a point, but if you give those three close rounds (4-6-8) to Maidana, or give 10-10 for the sake of it (Maidana was definitely the agressor, but Floyd landed few more effective punches), you end up with a win for Maidana. I guess then that would make me a fanatic.
