    Chagaev is a piece of **** is there any reason why without blinking an eyelash they accepted this challenger? because they know he wont win another dull boring shitfest no one wants to see here in the U.S. I applaud HBO for not taking this junk.

    Chagaev is not a piece of fecal matter. Prove to me that Haye is more qualified that Chagaev for an heavyweight title fight? Are you kidding?! Please take boxing 101 before posting.

    man Chagaev is a joke at best, haye would have destroyed him, Haye has Xfactor, power and speed and could get to Wlad, who doesn't take punches to well, chagaev is solid in all areas but doesn't have the ability to really give Wlad any problems. Wlad will win, I don't care that fight is happening, but I understand why HBO is not doing the fight.

    If you don't understand the value of having a backdrop of 60,000 fans at an event for a sport you promote -- even the visual footage alone, when you're losing people to MMA by the second -- then I can't help you.

    Again, HBO televised an event with Dawson in what was basically a high school auditorium. And you get offered 60,000 fans, on a platter. And you turn it down. AND THEN YOU TALK ABOUT 'pop' with Arreola!!!!!

    Tell us the truth, audio -- do you work at HBO? LOL!!! If not, you should apply. You'd fit right in!!!!!

    :lol::nut:lol::nut:rofl

    Bazooka -- you make sense. Still, I can't see Chagaev pulling a "Haye" here and ducking out. Again, this is a guy based in Germany who gets 60K fans on a platter for him, and a US audience. This is his big chance, no way he's not going to fight if they let him.

    stop talking about this MMA rubbish, boxing is massive MMA is not going to destroy boxing, why would HBO put tens of millions of dollars into this sport, it is massive, people forget HBO have been doing boxing for over 30 year they know the sport and there not going to put up millions for a fight that is going to boring and the most boring HW of all time Wlad will just stand tall and jab all night and win easy like it was a sparring session.

    Again how does 60,000 people watching an event in Germany equal ratings for HBO in the US? I don't see soccer getting huge ratings here just because thousands of people are watching it in person..

    Arreola has no power? :huh

    Chagaev fights out of Germany. He gets to have 60K Germans come and watch him. If he beats Klitschko, he becomes a 'made man' in Germany and can make big bank for years to come, just off this one fight.

    The Klitschkos are HUGE in Germany, enormous. That (and NOT Haye, who can't even sell out medium-sized venues in England) is why so many people were coming to the fight.

    If Ruslan gets a "W" against Wlad he'll have made money for his kids' kids.
