I must say......it surely seems that after the Aydin fight, Guerrero has bulked up nicely, filled out his frame and is taking punches like nothing.

That said.....watching the Berto fight, I couldnt help but wonder how long his suspension would be if VADA testing were implemented for that fight, and every one of his fights since Aydin, bar Mayflower, where he didnt even throw a punch for 12 rds. :huh

 

There is no rematch. He has to fight Khan next. But the WBC might work out a nice deal for Garcia and some step aside money to Khan from Waddel and Reed. This tournament better not turn into a farce like the Super Six that has Leperacy and fell apart.

 

Super Six was a toxic tournament. You had the 2 Nordic stiffs in Froch and Kessler. Then you have 2 very good American fighters in Jermane Taylor and Andre Dirrell. Many felt Taylor was a shop worn middleweight and he proved to be. Dirrell was a very good and skilled fighter. But anything could send the man into a bi polar fit with seizures. Then you have Arthur Abraham another middleweight. Packs a big punch but he is just to small for that weight division. His height puts him at a huge disadvantage. Alan Green was a bum. Glen Johnson was old and had to cut a lot of weight since it was short notice replacement. The truth is that winner in that tournament was not cleaning out the division. In all fairless to the glass chin but Lucian Bute was considered the IBF and Lineal Super Middleweight champion. If Ward would of quickly done away with Bute would of put Andre on the top as undisputed. But he wanted a vacation from the rigorous traveling done in the Super Six. When Andre said he needs a break from the strenuous travel he battled in the Super Six! ? ? Half the crowd near the press burst into laughter when that was said. C'mon Andre lets get serious.

He's milked one win over Andre Berto into a handful of million-dollar paydays.

Did you notice how sloppy Guerrero's offense was? He was missing and clinching a lot. He just doesn't seem to have the power. He also cant pressure like he used to. This is not the same Guerrero that beat Katsidis,Berto and went the distance with Floyd. He doesn't have the energy like he did back then.

 

Was were the purses for these two guys? $1 million each?
