We have to get away from the corrupted organisations, i.e. WBC, WBO, WBA and IBF. As long as we define the champ as the holder of those belts, we will never get a undisputed champ. Hopefully the Ring belt will gain more recognition. The Ring Magazine is into boxing, the other organisations are into money and will strip the champions of the belts justto make more money.

It's not perfect but it is the best option.

The best option is the lineal title which isn't established yet.
SO the champion will be when Wlad (#1 contender) will fight winner
    of Peter/Maskayev or Chagayev/Ibragimov - #2 or #3 contender.

Ring Magazine has already been digreaced for corrupt rankings. On top of that, they can't force their "champions" to fight their #1 contenders.

They are just journalists, not boxing gods. All you would be doing is giving the power to a handful of people who half the time know less about the sport than the fans. A lot of them are only working at Ring as a stepping stone to SI or TIME magazine so they can start writin about their real interests.

Add to all that the fact that Ring is openly a for-profit organization (at least the org's pretend to be non-profit), meaning they will give rankings, credit & coverage to the most popular fighters so people will buy their magazine, rather than the actual best fighters.

Ring is worse than the sanctioning bodies.

The Ring is a ****ing magazine.

People think boxing is so complicated. It isn't perfect but other sports are complicated. Look how many teams, players and cups there are in football. Not to mention that there is domestic, continent and international football.

If you are interested in it then it all becomes quite simple. The best fighting the best, good undercards, top marketing and quality productions makes someone want to watch and when they watch they will learn.

The best option would obviously be to have one international governing body like every other sport has.

The best option would be if The Ring used their power as a voice that is heard. This way they could continously expose corruption and push for the fights that matter.

Instead they've thrown another trinket into the pick and mix.

The belt has a history of corruption AND has stop and started. It's a mess but people want to cling onto anything.
