Let us now revisit the question.... Should Sugar Shane rematch Cotto at the MSG?

I'm leaning towards 3. A rematch should happen, but it doesn't matter where the site is. Cotto beat Shane, and Shane ko'd AM who ko'd Cotto. Vegas or MSG, lets get it on, not catch weight...

 

No matter where they would have fought, Cotto beat Mosley that night. Close enough for a rematch, of course, outside of MSG? of course - Mosley is the man WW so he should choose.

Cotto vs. Abdulaev - TKO
Cotto vs. Maliggnagi - UD
Cotto vs. Judah - TKO
Cotto vs. Mosley - UD
Cotto vs. Jennings - TKO
Cotto vs. Clottey - SD

The ONLY fight there that you can argue favored Cotto was against Clottey and Clottey brought it upon himself not to finish strong.

 

Cotto won the first fight. Shane is the ***** who wants to avenge it. Also Shane feels he could do it convincintly with Nazzem in his corner so what's the big deal?

I'm not saying do it on the eve on the Parade or anything but if that's what's called for don't let it be the reason for the fight not to happen.

 

Cotto vs. Judah - Cotto got a point deducted. Cotto got the job done, Judah didnt.

Cotto vs. Mosley - how questionable scoring? If I remember correctly, two judges had the same scorecard 115-113 and the other had it 116-113.

Cotto vs. Clottey - i dont have anything to say except Clottey blew it.

 

Say what you want but if Shane is the man @ WW, then he should decide where the fight should take place. If Cotto truly is the warrior we claim he is, then he should take the fight. **** ARUM. They should fight in California, after all, Shane is from there and a lot of Mexicans would be rooting for him Didn't Mosley once say he was part Mexican? Being a Cotto fan I would like a neutral site, because Cotto keeps getting bashed with hate whenever he fight in MSG. Especially with both of their performances I really don't think any guy has leverage both beat tough opposition and both are popular fighters. A neutral site is best for both

Truth is there is no real man at WW. We are getting closer to finding out this year who the man is. But no one is number one yet. I would say PW is number one right now since he beat Quintana in rematch. But he might not be fighting at WW anymore because it's so hard for him to get a fight there. The truth is the WW division is all over the place.
