I remember this night well.

Khan wasn't very liked by the British public because he was hugely arrogant despite being knocked down multiple times already. There was also the issue of him avoiding any domestic rivalry fights.

the Maidana fight is your defence to everything I doubt anyone on here has forgot seeing as though you dedicate your life to defending Khan. The fact remains he's been down COUNTLESS times to non punchers and average punchers , so him surviving whilst looking drunk doing chicken dances whilst running for his life VS Maidana is irrelevent.

 

that right hand maidana landed in the 10th round would of knocked out anyone khan took it well.

 

The Maidana fight is a bit of an anomaly. We've seen Khan KO'ed and dropped by less powerful punchers.

The only difference is that Maidana is a come forward fighter and pushed Khan back all night, so when his shots landed Khan was often moving away, lessening the impact of the blows.

Garcia and Prescott waited for Khan to come to them and countered him, increasing the force of their punches. If Maidana hadn't of chased him as much and allowed Khan to come to him, which Khan inevitably would do, he may have then been able to land with the full force of his shots more often and KO'ed Khan.
