It was a very very good fight imo, a true boxing masterclass from the best boxer to ever do it- Pretty Boy Floyd Mayweather.

    For the lineal Welterweight championship.

I watch it occasionally. It was literally watching a Bull against a Matador. Great fight.

Yeah some people walked out, and that's simply because they don't know jack about boxing.

    Great fight.

    Let's go.

    Tiger Woods
    James Toney
    Michael Jordan
    Charles Barkley
    Denzel Washington
    Magic Johnson
    Tommy Lasorda

    All there.

Mayweather-Baldomir was probably PBFs slowest fight, likely because Baldomir was a big WW with a bit of a threat about him coming in enter off an upset of Undisputed WW Champ in Judah and a decade long unbeaten streak.

Even though the fight was slow as hell it was essentially a boxing clinic by PBF,the dude landed every punch in the book in that fight.

:yep A few years later the dude was fighting at super middleweight! (against fairly solid domestic opposition, and doing well..)

Very underrated fight. I loved it myself.

For entertainment purposes, it probably wasn't the best. But I thought it was a great showcasing of PBF's talent.

IF you thought it was boring, then you may need to learn about boxing a bit more. It was a clinic, a boxing masterclass. Go watch some Kimbo Slice backyard brawls if that was boxing to you. :nono

This is actually the reason I laugh a bit when people bring up facing Baldo over Margo, Carlos fought solid fighters from WW-SMW doing fairly well Tony got stopped every time he stepped above 147

well, floyd was not a big favorite to beat baldomir. If y'all remember, baldomir had beaten judah then ko'd gatti. Baldomir was considered a big threat to floyd....even moreso because baldomir was much bigger guy. the feeling was he would be able to brush off floyds punches and walk him down. but floyd dominated the entire fight in a truly spectacular and brilliant performance. shut baldomir down to the point where a lotta frustrated haters started walking out in protest that floyd was dominating yet ANOTHER opponent, that damn *******!..great fight and one that really lifted floyd's profile to more mainstream status.
