Let us relive one of the best fights- Mayweather vs Baldomir

Baldimor was a bum who lost to bums before facing Floyd ..Beating a mental midget in Judah didn't give him credibility ..So is it the norm now to try and elevate Floyds opponents into above average guys just because Floyd fought them is that how it is ? I see the same thing as done with Berto ..These fights were cherry picks call em like you see em and stop trying to con the public like Mayweather did !

 

Gatti wasn't outboxing jack ****. He was trying to use movement and outbox Baldomir but he was getting his ass kicked doing so.

None of this changes the facf that Baldomir was hopelessly outclassed against Mayweather in a boring fight, but Gatti wasn't outboxing anything against Baldomir.

Naturally, Jim Lampley kept bringing up weight, making it sound like Baldomir was some welterweight giant picking on the poor tiny Gatti (a big JWW who had weighed 160 on fight night a few years earlier in the Gamache debacle).

 

No need to elevate baldomir or berto. Those guys are both proven championship caliber opponents. Baldomir, in fact, was THE ww champ. the LINEAR champ. The guy who beat judah and gatti...he was a legit threat and far more accomplished than margarito. Berto is a TWO TIME CHAMP at ww... a guy who made several successful defenses of his title at ww. those guys are miles and miles ahead of ANYBODY ggg has fought in his career...floyd eats them for breakfast. If ggg had fought two guys that caliber in his career you'd be calling ggg the second coming of joe louis...but then again, y'all ggg fans already calling him that when he aint fought schit.
