Fight sucked.

 

OK well here is my input: Pretty Boy Floyd struggles with the jab. If it was a younger man who didn't gas, like Khan sticking his ram rod jab down the pipe all day he would've forced the stoppage in the latter stages.

This fight taught him to avoid fighters with good jabs

 

For me this fight was all about ring IQ. Oscar went away from the jab that was working for him and cost him and Floyd always seems to know what he needs to do. I scored the fight 7-5 Mayweather way back when.

 

Floyd went life and death with an old ODLH at the end of his career....

 

Sup WardisTBE. Oscar was shot and on coke. Meaningless win.

Nobody give a **** about mayweather. But I give him props He is an ATG, no question about that

 

Wow, Oscar schooled him even while on his zimmer frame.

If he'd fought a bit smarter Void would have been KO'd easy.

If he'd been prime he'd have put Void into hospital.

If he'd come in with his fishnets, the confidence boost would have been such that Void would have been obliterated and scientists a thousand years from nw would be proclaiming Void's little powdery glassy remains to be evidence of a comet strike.

De La Hoya vs Mayweather
Oscar got everything and Mayweather got a flat fee of $25 million.
That fight grossed $19 million at the gate
$136 million in PPV revenue

That's $155 million dollars total and Mayweather only got $25 million for a fight he had to promote by himself because De La Hoya did nothing. What prayer does GGG have against Oscar now that he is clean as far as negotiations go.
He was on Peruvian flake and was still raking in the dough.

Mayweather took his chance and became the face of boxing.

 

Willy, that is not how it works. If the ppv revenue is $136m, half of it goes to the cable company. $68 millions is divided between the fighter. So if mayweather get $25m, that leave Oscar with $43 million plus the live gate. That is my understanding anyway.
