Seems to me like AJ is a confidence fighter, and Phil Mcracken was just feeding his confidence... Phil knew it wasnt looking good at this point. Or maybe he was shouting at Usyk..... That would make more sense.
I'd wager he saw Benn-McClellan and Bruno-McCall. Not sure if Joshua or Del ever returned the favor, though.
It wasn't Rob saying that though was it? It was 'Joby Clayton' apparently. According to Reddit anyhow. I don't feel like being constantly praised for doing nothing and losing rounds is likely to be particularly inspiring though.
First words to Joshua at the end of the twelfth: 'Brilliant boxing! Well done young man!' This content is protected At ~34.40 I get it, consoling, but it sounds like they're talking to a child.
Oh, the Mr. Psychology guy. I have to admit to taking the video caption at face value and giving the audio a very cursory, lazy listen before commenting — running it back, you're right, it doesn't sound like Rob. On the assumption that it was coming from McCracken, I interpreted it as an exhortation to keep his head up and not lose heart (he showed palpable signs of frustration and confusion at what was happening to him from early on in the bout). If it was Clayton, that shifts the context somewhat. He's one of those ten a penny gurus of that new-age 'positive vibes only/visualise it/law of attraction' bunk Joshua's into. I stand by my general point about Rob and the criticism he's attracting lately (in this case, it turns out, for something another guy was doing).
Brilliant Boxing Brilliant Boxing Brilliant AJ Brilliant Boxing Nothing like trying to influence the Judges and get the robbery/fix in !! Good job only Howard Foster heard them shouting . Lol
