Let's all reevaluate Cotto's win over Martinez

    Now that Cotto legit is able to hurt and knockout Cruiserweights as shown tonight, his win over Martinez is looking better and better. His resume is already better than GGG's, what a true warrior.

    Martinez was so traumatized and embarrassed by that beating that he quit boxing.. :rofl:lol:

    Maravilla was hurt bro. Cotto gets no credit from me beating on a man that beg for leg braces.

    You're wrong, Martinez called Cotto out because Cotto looked garbage vs Trout and he wanted an easy payday.

    He underestimated Cotto's boxing skills and got rocked by a chunky left hook. The force was so strong that Martinez literally twisted his ankle and got beat up the rest of the fight.

    The same happened with Cotto and that Jewish kid at Yankee Stadium. Cotto's punches just rock people's bodies.

    I seriously think that most of the people that hate Cotto are Martinez fans :lol:

    He didn't have this many detractors before that fight :lol:

    I admit to being a fan of Martinez because he was a small middle weight that was avoided like crazy and ran from no one.
    The same crying about not being a REAL middleweight that Cotton is doing was never said by Maravilla, who himself started at 147, moved to 154, and then 160 without ever making full 160 weight.

    It annoys the hell of me that a mediocre diva piece of **** like Cotto who hasn't had a real win over a top opponent in years and most of his legit wins are damn close to draws. Ends the career of one of the nicest most exciting fighters there is in Martinez, and drains the hell out of everyone he fights so he can get to write this BS narrative of how his "storybook" career comes to an end by draining and ducking every real threat that comes his way.

    And it works look at all the wackos on this forum who actually consider a headbutt an a hook on a zombifoed Geale as some kind of major accomplishment.

    He and his CW BS with a Lineal title actually sickens me. I kid around with you about Fury and Mitchell, but I genuinely dislike Cotto. Nothing he does is worthy of the adulation he gets from his legion of idiot fans.

    Yeah, this version of Cotto beats any version of Martinez. Just levels to this game, and Martinez wasn't on Cotto's level.

    Also, Cotto didn't need any catchweight to beat Geale. It was stupid of him to do that, but he got the win and dominated in a fashion I was expecting.

    Yeah, let's re evaluate: Sergio is completely shot, and can't even walk normal...despite claiming he didn't injure the knee in the fight and saying it wasn't a factor.

    Same reason people were saying Delvin Rodriguez was no indicator of Cotto carrying his power.

    Cotto just keeps proving people wrong, and people are still overlooking Cotto because "...ah, ah, the Austin Trout fight... showed..." :|

    Put the pipe down quick. Cotto would be beat worse than Margarito did to him by a healthy Martinez. This is the same man who beat Pavlik, Kayoed a dangerous Williams, took the 0's of Barker, Chavez Jr., and Murray and believe it or not would have destroyed ( a fighter that I am a fan of) Mayweather.

    People like to focus on everything but what happens between the ropes whenever they don't like what they see actually happening in competition. I see what you're saying but those people wouldn't be worth the time nor opinion to hear what they'd have to say.
