    I don't know who has seen this or not, but youtube now has the Tubbs - Bowe fight. It has been years since I've watched it, and if you have the stamina, to view it all in segments, then grab some popcorn, raisinettes and a bottle of scotch and enjoy the show.

    Let's discuss our conclusions afterward. I'm guessing I'll have time by say Saturday to give my interpretation.

    I like the concept, not so much your choice of fight ;-). But I'm game. I'll check out a segment a day and 2 on Saturday just to distribute the pain.

    Can't we watch a better fight together, maybe a controversal 1 that is quality and then debate the rounds

    Round 1: Tentative feeling out start by both, Leonard starts flat footed and apparently Dundee had said they wanted to take Duran out in 4, did they underestimate the Hands of Stone?

    Duran 10-9 - Close D probably did more but could go either way

    Round 2: After a closish scrappy start Duran finds his range, his head movement and timing and after a few nice shots gives us the famous moment where he rocks and wobbles Leonard, beautiful, then catches Leonard, then works him on the ropes, then catches him with the counter right hands which is 1 of the sweet. Not much back from Leonard a few athletic shots that dont land too flushly. WHY THE HELL DID RICKY HATTON THINK HE WAS GOOD ENOUGH TO 'BE DURAN TO MAYWEATHER'?

    With all due respect to everyone here, as well as with respect to Duran-Leonard. I think a separate thread could be started for this fight. My intent was to discuss Bowe vs Tubbs. If you don't like it, then fine, but its sure as hell easy enough to start your own thread without derailing the topic of someone else's.

    The best fight to do this with would have to be Leonard v Hagler since that's the one fight that keeps coming up to no end. Maybe do a round a day so peopel have time to score and post.

    Agreed...no disrespect intended to anyone! But this is a topic that we could stand to see more of, classic fans reviewing classic matches together. If you have a good match and some have been listed start a seperate thread on it. I am game to do and discuss more than 1, but will reserve this thread for Bowe-tubbs. Good choice

    BTW, I thought Bowe beat Tubbs, and fairly clearly. I was surprised that there was so much "controversy" over it.

    I agree completely, I think I mentioned something similiar in one of my old posts, but no matter.

    Maybe do a fight a week, maybe do review 3 rounds score and discuss, then move to next rounds.

    Magoo, thanks for bringing this up, this may have some legs, and coud be entertaining.
