    I've got a copy of Bowe-Tubbs on DVD, so if Youtube isn't cooperating I can always watch that one again.

    I'm pretty certain I had it scored a draw, 95-95. Thought Bowe had the early steam, Tubbs with the later rounds. But I could check it again.

    Thanks, we need something new to spark conversation around here. I don't know if this is the thing, but I figured it would be fun.

    This is an excellent concept and I have to apologize on my comments on your choice of fight. I watched the first 2 rounds last night and both guys are in better shape than I expected and the action is very good in the first two rounds.

    Yeah, the first two rounds are about as far as I've gotten so far as well. I gave Bowe the first round. He was the aggressor and kept busier. But your right, Tony Tubbs looked better in that fight than he had in years prior, including his 1988 match with Mike Tyson. He was a few pounds lighter and fighting a tad more actively. I never recalled hearing about it at the time, but I found on boxrec that he had beaten top contender Orlin Norris in 1989 following the Tyson fight. The decision was reversed to a NC on the basis of Marijuana showing up in Tubb's urine after the fight.
