To say that KP "Cannot Hurt" PW is a stretch...sometime, somewhere during the fight, Paul will get caught.

And the bad news for Paul is that Kelly is one of the best finishers in boxing. When he's see's that he hurt Paul, like the old saying goes...

    Its Ovah!

Dude, Quintana and Margo buzzed him and I'm pretty damn sure Pavlik hits harder than those two.

Here's a question for you, how well does Williams handle a fighter that he won't tower over.

This is gonna be an interesting fight. I'm not so sure Williams boxes circles around Pavlik either, he is the better boxer but he aint no Hopkins either.

If it came down to a battle of chins, there is another factor to consider. PW cuts WAY easier than KP does. If Kelly turned Paul into a one-eyed fighter, Paul would be absolutely ****ed.

TRUST what i am telling you.. as far as the height **** goes.... paul williams had extensive sparring experience with welter-heavyweights so im sure he will know how to adjust... obviously sparring is not fighting so dont get smart either

Your telling me to be reasonable yet you are saying that Williams can't be hurt by Pavlik, thats a big stretch. I wouldn't be surprised if Williams won but dude, come on.

I would recommend that we not use our imaginations to much, and that George Peterson not test your theory.

Paul needs to make some changes to his normal style in order to make this competetive, and have a real shot.

1; Keep his ****ing hands up! Protect yourself at ALL times, that's the rule, and it drives me crazy when fighters hold a low guard.

2; Focus on accuracy and defense, and forget overwhelming KP with workrate. He can't win a fire fight.

3; Stay mobile, and box smart off the back foot. He cannot get away with setting up camp in front of Kelly, and unloading those crazy combinations. He is not accurate, and he's wide open to shots that come right down the middle when he does that. He'd be standing in front of a guy who simply does not care if you beat hell out of him. Pav's answer to that is to return fire HARD. Pavlik would beat the **** out of Paul if tries to unload those wild combos.

With the right fight plan PW can make this a very difficult fight. Anything that involves getting hit on the chin several times means it's over in 5-8 rounds.

use your imagination to speculate on the potential outcome of this fight

    not reality
    not facts
    not what probably will occur

    imagination
    assumptions
    ideas
    ..

you people are really hard headed.... STOP USING FACTS! i asked one simple question is everyone is bringing up **** that has nothing to do with the question

    Okay, I'll play along.

Assuming Pavlik cannot hurt Williams, I think Pavlik can trust his work rate to be effective enough to win a decision. More importantly, Pavlik should be the effective aggressor, even though PW might actually throw more punches. I figure with Pavlik's size, he will be able to back up PW, and ultimately land the more meaningful and harder shots.
