Lets Assume Pavlik Cannot Hurt Williams Because He Has An ATG Chin.... Then What?

he was shakin up by Walter Matthysse a couple times. And Pavlik can bang a lot harder than Matthysse. Pavlik will hurt him if he catches him clean, no doubt about it.

If boxrec is to be trusted, Williams is going to have a whopping 7" reach advantage. Over a 6'2" MW. Crazy.

 

The over all reach is deceptive. Paul has exceptionally broad back and shoulders, but his arms are the same length as Miranda's. That gives him a 1" advantage in arm length.

 

This is fantasy. Williams chin is NOT ATG. The Quintana fight shows, at the very least, it's dentable. Now, Williams is skilled, and if you took this out of the equation, I would probably favor him, but in the real world you can't do that.

I think Pavlik is gonna stop him somewhere in the middle rounds, maybe earlier.

While we're at it, let's assume Williams can fly too.

 

Honestly~ its not hate its fact, Quintana was able to bother Williams with his shots, Margarito was getting to Williams towards the end, Pavlik IMO can crack harder we all know this, the question is does he have the skill set to deal with that higher work rate? I doubt it.
