$$$$$$$$ OBVIOUSLY, and I don't blame him. EASY fight for a BIG money. Jones should retire after this, he's just shot, and might get brain damage or something if he keeps fighting like this.

LOL, Jones would pummel Pavlik, the only question is, would it be under 3 or between 4 and 6 before he was KO or TKO'ed?

I doub't Pavliks predictable punches would get anywhere near Jones, I would like to watch it, from the comical point of view, but for Pavlik fans it would be humiliating.

There is no "if Joe wins the Jones is shot"... There is just the reality that Jones is far removed from his prime. He doesnt have the legs he used to have and that's a major part of his game. I believe Joe is the favorite at this point but if this fight would have taken place 10 years ago then I believe Jones would be the heavy favorite. Its as simple as that.

He failed it after the Richard Hall fight, that was the time he was caught. Hall failed too. But how many times was RJJ not caught cheating ? But fact is he was caught once and that means he is a proven cheat.

Here is the deal. It's simple.

Joe while maybe not at his prime, has shown little to no signs of any major decline in his skills over his last few fights. Jones on the other hand has shown HUGE signs of decline in his last 6 or so fights. In addition based on styles, Joe can afford to lose a little foot speed and reflexes from age while Jones completely relied on them. Then there is the mental aspect of getting brutally KOed twice that Jones clearly displayed during Tarver III and is probably still dealing with vs Joe who is still undefeated and doesn't think he can lose.

That all adds up to honestly why a win by Joe will give him some credit but nobody is really going to consider it a scalp from the "superman" version of Jones or anything even really close to it.

Hopefully Roy will have something to prove and get a little of whatever juice Hopkins was taking to set back the clock but I can't bring myself to bet on it.

It was an over-the-counter suppliment. It wasn't universally banned.

Androstenedione was manufactured as a dietary supplement, often called andro (or andros) for short. Andro was in common use in Major League Baseball throughout the 1990s by record-breaking sluggers like Mark McGwire. The supplement is banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency, and hence from the Olympic Games.

On March 12, 2004, the Anabolic Steroid Control Act of 2004 was introduced into the United States Senate. It amended the Controlled Substance Act to place both anabolic steroids and prohormones on a list of controlled substances, making possession of the banned substances a federal crime. The law took effect on January 20, 2005. Surprisingly, andro was legally defined as an anabolic steroid, even though there is scant evidence that androstenedione itself is anabolic in nature.

On April 11, 2004, the United States Food and Drug Administration banned the sale of Andro, citing that the drug poses significant health risks commonly associated with steroids.

Androstenedione is currently banned by the US military.[2]

It increases strength and reduces body fat
