I agree. If Fireman Jim Flynn could KO Dempsey with one punch, can you imagine what a deadly, accurate bomber like Langford would do to him?

Dempsey hit hard, but Langford hit harder and had a better chin.

I see this being a blowout in favor of The Boston Tar Baby. No disrespect to Jack whatsoever. Dempsey himself knew better. He would have to act QUICKLY or it'd be all over for him.

Old or not, I'd give it to Langford any day. Didn't matter if he was losing his sight, or wasn't the fighter he had been year earlier, you put both men in the same ring, Langford KO's Dempsey. I am not saying Dempsey would have had no chance, it would have been a close fight, but as fast and as powerful as Dempsey was when he was young, Langford would still have beaten him. This is why he avoided him.

That being said, you all make great points.
