    2 losses to BHop, 1 loss to Winky, and 2 losses to Pavlik. That gives Froch, Abraham, Dirrell, and Ward 5 losses each. Kessler would lose to Hopkins 9 out of 10 times. He'd probably also lose to the version of Wright that JT fought. That's 3 losses for MK.

    Lots of names already mentioned, but one person who hasn't been mentioned who is THE throwback fighter is Glen Johnson - he is as old school as they come.

    Taylor fought Hopkins twice, Pavlik twice, and Winky once. That's five fights dip**** -- and Abraham, Froch, Dirrel, and Ward would have lost all five times.

    Assuming that Taylor got two gifts against Hopkins, draw against Winky and lost 2x to Pavlik I don't see your point to just elvate him above all of the Abraham, Froch, Dirrel, and Ward.

    The fighters that aren't in the position at the top. They take any big-ish fights they can get.

    This whole "old school mentality" is overblown anyway.

    Lots of "old school" fighters didn't fight other deserving opponents because the risk/reward was too high, or their managers recommended against it/turned it down.
