Just imagine what David Haye would have done to these two.

I feel for Isaac because he is better than that but completely froze in there. You could see it a mile off. Had zero confidence in throwing the right hand. Struggled with his breathing.

Okolie on the other hand, Jesus this guy is the dorkiest most cringeworthy boxer I've seen from Britain. His style is horrific. HE should have been deducted a point. Okolie ruined that fight because he did all of the holding and just made it a wrestling match.

I cannot wait until he steps up and gets brutally smashed to pieces I can't describe how much I hate him. Such an awkward bloke.

The fight was hyped out of proportion and once again punters and their money are easily parted. Okolie fought to his ability at least , just how good that ability is I would not hazard to guess as anyone can look good against someone who doesn't throw punches back.Chamberlain was poor to say the least him and his camp knew ( I take it they knew) how Okolie fights ? If they did prepare properly and it was a case of Issac freezing they should have been smart enough to realise that he has a temperament issue and continued to build him in other ways ? It's going to be very hard to reestablish Chamberlain's career. As for Okolie the current crop of Cruiserweights in the super 8 will have to age badly or retire in next few years for him to stand a chance of World honours.

On paper it’s a good match up.

In reality neither are going on to be a huge success at world level.

This event was forced on us/Matchroom because Deontay Wilder wouldn’t take the date for the Whyte match. They do an excellent job promoting the card - maybe too good. Got us all expecting too much from two basic below British level fighters.

On the other hand though, Cash showed he’s got the tools to progress, Belloti same, Cheeseman got through a tough fight against a very tough opponent and Buatsi was hugely impressive. It weren’t a card full of mismatches and there were some decent performances.

    6.5/10.

I recon they are both worth keeping an eye on still It is far too early to get this exicited about them both

Take the spot light off them for two or three years let the hon their craft as experienced pros and they might be world class
Why are fighters rushed along so quickly now

Chamberlain was a killer and now their both bums.

Not surprised at all, just the usual from you lot.

Why did you actually have Chamberlain winning?

People had Chamberlain winning just for the simple fact he’s sparred with Usyk haha. Pathetic really. Okolie was always going to be too big and strong for him.

Brendan Ingle always told Jonny Nelson "never give too much away when sparring"

Jeez. Ive never been in such mental pain from watching a boxing match ever. 2 glorified club fighters who are a product of the sky hype machine. No skill, no balls. The talk before the fight was that they both will take something from this fight and move on but what this fight has actually done is expose both of them as fighters to the point of no return. Hopefully its the last we hear of chamberlain and soon okolie can join him. Even the british public isnt that gullible to to ever be sold on these 2 ever again.

Tony bellews commentary was shocking last night. I don't normally find him too bad but last night he was polishing a turd. He said on the first knockdown about a punch to the side of the head??? Don't know about anyone else but I didn't see a punch connect looked more like Lawrence running at him and pushing him over with his body...

He then continued to gloat about okolies physical dominance and how he was owning the ring... This would've been bang on if he had done it for the opening two rounds to break Isaacs heart, not for 10 rounds mate I'm here to watch boxing not one man leaning and pushing someone around the ring for 30 minutes, if I wanted this then I'd have watched broke back mountain.

Bellew then continued to say this looks like Isaacs game plan. No mate your doing your best to keep everyone interested.

It stunk the place out, Eddie knows it, even AJ said it, I preferred the honesty... Bellew cleverley 2, I think it was way worse, great to have a plan like that but not if your given the spotlight of the o2 and main event. I think both have done themselves badly for there futures, this could be why these kind of fights don't happen so early, I think Isaac froze.on the night and Lawrence game plan was horrible

Yes this was a bad fight but it was two guys at the start of their professional careers. People expected a high quality fight but with these guys still learning it was never going to be like that. Both styles made it look bad and okolie done what was needed to get the win. I don't think you can write any of them yet as the time to judge is when they have both had 15-20 fights.
People on here are not happy either way. They complain about mis-match fights and then when two unbeaten fighters go at it they still complain!

Turned it off after 7 rounds.

Terrible fight, among the worst I’ve seen.

I watched the re-run. I made it into the 3rd round, then fast forwarded to the 10th because Hearn said that was entertaining and I could not even make it through the 10th. A truly DIRE headline fight. Truly DIRE as they come.

A boiled down HW with worse co-ordination and foot work than Deontay Wilder but with good power at British level, against a frighted and frozen LHW fighting at CW, who will really struggle to make a living out of the sport on this showing.

I will be interested to see how Okolies power and winning run translates when he is forced to move up to HW and he does enter the ring with massive size and reach advantages.

You would be disappointed with that as a top 3 Undercard fight leading to a main event. Both men were to blame for it being dire.

Okolie because he held constantly and didnt have the skills to fight other than at long range. Chamberlain because he completely froze, and is actually not very good (which is clear if you go back and watch his previous fights).
