Not that I think he should have to since Martinez is a lot bigger but Mayweather would NEVER take on a challenge like that in 1 million years so why go on like he'd beat him? He's been ducking Pacquiao like the plauge for years (I never saw him asking for random drug testing before Pacquiao came up to his weight). He's a coward and he's always ducked/stalled fights the fans wanted to see him in in the 8 or so years I've followed boxing and it always gets forgotton i.e peak Cotto (went into fake retirement), Margarito (said the money wasn't enough even though it was a career high purse), Paul Williams etc.

I'm not being a hater just honest. Yes he is an all time great but let's not even talk about Martinez since Mayweather would never take that fight unless it was 3 years down the line, Mayweather still had it and Martinez started to look **** and Mayweather had the fight at 154 or 147.

Of course he isn't going to fight Martinez. I'd be content seeing either of them against Alvarez, though.

Cotto rematch is what will happen.

This is what amazes me about Floyd fans. They just can't see that he has no heart or balls at all.

ANY chance of a Pac/Martinez fight happening has been and gone.

Manny would be in a no win situation fighting Sergio at 150 pounds though, and plus Sergio looks like a desperate buffoon even suggesting he would fight Manny at 150 pounds.

I think money would definitely fight Serge and whoop his ass if the $$$$$ is right. Sergio is tailor made for Floyd to coast right through him all night long.Money in a 10th round TKO!!!!!!!!!

After what I saw last night, there's no reason Money wouldn't fight him. I'm sure Money was licking his chops. He;s not even a tune up away from whooping Sergio's ass!!

He will fight Cotto in a rematch before anything...I see floyd avoiding canelo alvarez...i cant see pretty boy getting in the ring with the way canelo comes forward while taking punishment and letting his power go

yeh because every other Welterweight fighter that comes up from 130lbs is a ***** for not fighting the Middleweight champion.

Floyd isn't stopping anyone. Besides that ridiculous stoppage of Ortiz, Floyd hadn't stopped anybody since Ricky Hatton.

As Floyd's weight goes up, His power goes down.
