Floyd didn't duck ****. He took on the best fights for the most money, and beat the lineal 147, and 154lb champions in the process. 154lb DLH, was a better fighter than Cotto. And margarito is a joke who isn't even worth discussing.

no one will ever b happy, there'll always be haters running their mouth....in a way, while its whack he's on vacation, its a pretty good way to say f you to the fans for always crying and moaning......folks need to just b happy with what they get and b thankful for great talents......

so same with manny, if he wants to have these "weak fights" let him, no matter what he does, the HATERS will always have something to say so it really doesn't even matter......manny's been fighting nothing but the best available, but somehow all that turned into "fighters were passed their best" "fighters are drained" "fighters are tailor made" "he's on roids".....give me a f'in break

If Mayweather fought Margarito he would deserve to be given **** for doing so. Pacquiao deserves to be given **** for fighting Margarito as well. In comparison to Mayweather and Pacquiao, Margarito is not that good.

on the same note, who are as good as these two?

That means we can start putting wins in their resume without actually fighting them?

no I can legit say that Margo would have been a very good fight. Margo posses the same type risks that castillo possed and both of those fights were competitive bouts. Cotto would have liked to see that too....but the other thing that often gets over looked is that there is a pattern with all the fighters Floyd so called "ducked"...they were all promoted by Top Rank.... think thats a coincidence? Don't think soo. Toney would have been a good fight, but do you really think Arum or Todd DeBufe thought floyd was going to lose? Remember they were planning on making this fight when Floyd was still part of the the company...so I'd figure they were as worried about floyd losing that fight as they were about Manny lose to Toney as well.

The thing is, Floyd retired instead of fighting Marg or Cotto. When he returned, he fought MARQUEZ. Can you honestly say this ain't a ***** move

Theres a lot of truth to that:

-Judah, Baldomir (yes, Baldomir), DLH, Hatton, Mosley were all fights that were demanded...once he won, they became hand-picked bums.

Theres ALWAYS another fighter, no matter what. He had a phenomenal year where he won fighter of the year and wanted to take a break, big deal. Sure, a Cotto fight wouldve been big. Personally Im glad it didnt happen b/c I didnt want Cotto to lose. The fight wouldve been good for the sport however.

people need to put things in perspective. In 2005 when Mayweather was at 140, he destroyed Gatti and Cotto and Hatton (and their promoters) wanted nothing to do with him. These were the champions at the time according to RING.

    135- Corrales
    140- Hatton
    147- Judah

what do they have in common? To say his resume is **** is just idiocy.

what do they have in common?

Now....now.... Are you trying to be a revisionist?

    Hatton at 140?
