Let's be honest, Pacquiao was Floyds toughest fight

Floyd was the most cautious I've seen him, I'll say that much.

 

Pacquiao was not even close to his toughest fight. The guy was tamed with Floyd's jab. Mayweather literally didn't even have to make an adjustment. Work the jab, control distance, and drop the right hand when Pac extends. It was really a straight forward game plan and Pac had ZERO answer.

Pac was gun shy all night. He knew what would happen if he went for it. That right hand was waiting. Fight was over after I saw Pac respond to the right hand in the 1st round. It was over that fast.

In regard to fighting cautious: Yea, Pac wasn't doing ****. Why extend and do anything else? Fight was in the bag fellas.

 

It was a chess match at the world's highest level. Literally, the two best boxers in the world in the same ring.

They both played the "make him miss, and make him pay" game. Nobody took risks that night at the fear of being being countered by the other (which caused both of their punch output to nosedive off a cliff). They were both defensively impressive, and worked at making each other miss and then coming back with a counter. They were basically trying to out time each other the entire night. And obviously, Mayweather is better at that.

It was a chess match. That's it. Purists will appreciate it, but anyone else will hate it.

 

Anyone thinks Floyd won by a large margin is either dumb as sack of bricks or is delusional

Pac countered Floyd that bad he had to let go any offensive thoughts and rely on hitting now and then, if any

I already posted a video of all punches that landed that show how many rounds Pac actually won , sadly the admin panicked and threw it in the recycle thread

DLH, Judah, and Cotto forced Floyd to make adjustments. Pacquiao didn't.

I don't see the result being much different if they fought in their primes.

But lets not forget victor he went out like a wuss but he was makin floyd work

 

Judah landed more clean punches in twelve rounds than Pacquiao. Pacquiao did not land that many solid punches (neither did Floyd for that matter). Pacquiao neutralized Floyd's counters better than anyone else so I partially agree.

Neither fighters did much but one ran around potshotting and hugged the other 4+ times each round. It was a much closer fight than what the scorecards tell because not much happened except one made the other miss a little more and kept hugging to make the other slightly more ineffective.
