because that 'world series of boxing' was a 'pro tournament'..... and a perfect transition from amateurs to pro for him.... 8 pro fights is still impressive.... but I'm sure if rigondeaux had fought in the 'world series' he too would have fought for a pro title in his second fight.
I get where you're coming from but it's officially his 2nd and will always be remembered in record books that way.
yeah, but the point is WSB has been a great introduction for amateurs who are turning pro..... that never existed in the past.
his record is 1-0 so no its his 2nd professional fight... WSB isnt professional fighting its for fighters that want to remain to have that "Amateur " status while fighting at a more professional level. If it was considered professional then it would serve no purpose. So ur arguement is invalid.
they're paid genius..... therefore it's professional..... the distinction between amateur and pro... = paid and unpaid ranks.... amateur athletes are 'sponsored' not 'paid'
