He's not the HW champ, obv Wlad is. But he's not a "fraud". He's definitely a world class fighter. I favor both Klitschko and Povetkin over him, but that doesnt make him a "bum" or "fraud" unless every HW in the world also is.

I think Jennings would also be a tough fight for him. I think hed destroy Perez, who has never been the same after the Magomed fight. he'd whip Takam too.

I think Wilder is a top 5 HW, albeit in what many consider a weak era. While he certainly has earned status as "great" or anything close, to say he's garbage is stupid.

We will see hopefully when he fights Povetkin. The only way it doesnt happen is if they have to go to Russia. Im not sure theyll do that.

I like Wilder, and I want him to be great because it would be good for boxing in the US. But im honest about his limitations right now, and questions about his chin. But anyone claiming "He is GREAT" OR "He is a bum" is equally stupid. The truth probably lies in between those 2 extremes.

300 punches landed on that bum, all flush, and he couldn't even put him down once.

Wilder's power is as fraudolent as everything else.

Pure nonsense. Ali was also floored by two B-level fighters early in his career.

Wilder isn't as skilled but he hits harder than Ali. He has a puncher's chance against anyone, and has pretty good speed too so he can land that decisive punch at any moment.

I don't see any reason to call him a fraud.

Wilder is just 'alright', nothing special. Everyone appears to have power when fighting stiffs, his power is average/good and he is a passable boxer with a glass jaw and long reach, that is all.

No, no, no, no. Not a compariosn.

Ali as floored by two contenders, Wilder was floored by bums.

We don't know that because Wilder's "power" only manifests against cans, divers and zombies.

You have blinders on your eyes. Dfending a "world" title against Molina and Duhauapas makes you a fraud.

    Will the nuthugging never end?

In all honesty your over complicating a simple clean and suffice response. Basically we agree to disagree an argument can be made and justified on both ends of the matter. I'm no physiological expert however you seem extremely self righteous and riddled with all sorts of biased when giving a fair evaluation of wilder. Is it that difficult to accept opinions that differ from yours without the lofty attitude and patronizing?

Went through a drive through burger joint last night on the way home. I was hungry and thought "Hey, why not it is quick." Ordered a double burger with fries and a coke. Got my food and drove home. Opened the bag and set everything out on the table. Man, I was really hungry. Started to bite into the double burger and noticed it was kind of light. Opened it up and there was nothing but ketchup, mus****, onions and picklesl. I was ****ed. Got my stuff back in the bag and drove back to the burger joint and asked for the manager. Showed my receipt and the double burger. I aksed "Where's the beef?" I was in a state of righteous indignation and the manager said...."That is the Wilder burger, there is no beef to it." There is nothing to it. Sadly, I went home.

The problem is that in one breath you tell me I am off base, fallaciously tell me that I need to give him the benefit of the doubt (there is no doubt in my mind after five years), and that I doubt my own oppinions, in a second breath tell me you don't have time to argue it, and in a third tell me that you respect my oppinion.

Look, going beyond boxing here for a moment, you have employed two very silly logical fallacies.

    1) When you say things like you can tell that I sub consiously fear being proven wrong, you are creating for yourself what is called a "non-disprovable theory." It is flat out stupid and something that you are doing to comfort yourself. The situation is exactly the opposite of what you are describing- you are a bit psycologically weak on your own position.

    2) Claiming that you are a boxer and those who doubt Wilder don't know boxing is called "appeal to authority" or "special plee." They are also recognized as foolish lines of reasoning. As much as you would like to believe it, the majority of people that agree with me to one degree or another are not all non-boxers who just don't see that special thing in him. Life doesn't work that way.

He accomlished absolutely nothing. When you set a low bar, you get no credit. Wilder picked a second low-ranked bum, gave him five weeks to train, and still got his eyes deformed for his trouble. He should be ashamed. Wilder needs to fight Wlad, Povetkin, or at least a top ten contender and then he gets credit. Until then, it is just degress of failure.[/quote]

Yeah, you are speculating because I talk boxing and that's all I'm talking. It's a fact that Stiverne is ranked higher than Thompson, Takam and Perez. Who he lost to is irrelevant in this case. I am not here for you to psycho****yze. I'm here to talk boxing and maybe debate a few points of contention. However, I will admit that I can get pulled into a squabble but not often.

Once again, you are beggining with a moderate tone, and then becoming insulting and trying to employ pseudo pyschology, ending with a non-diprovable theory. Everything I said still stands. Thanks.

Can't read this because you have the quotes so ****ed up. Were you drunk when you posted this?

What in god's name is wrong with you nuthugging morons? He won an Olympic bronze medal, has had 34 profesiional fights, and is allegedly some sort of world champion with two defenses. He needs polish? He didn't have a good amatuer career? If he needs decent pro challenges, then why isn't he taking any?

Honestly, do you fanboys have any idea how stupid you sound?

Dear Lord! Take the man's ***** out of your mouth when you talk? No, Stiverne, Molina and Duhaupas are not in the same class as Tucker, Tubbs, Holmes, Spinks, Thomas, etc. Even the other nuthuggers know you are a re****.
