Chag sat on his WBA title for a year and then started with voluntary defenses against overweight ham-n-eggers, has ducked his mandatory for more than a year ... and no one complains.

Povetkin wins an eliminator in May and by June people are saying Wilder -- who is at least defending his belt -- is the ducker.

Rankings are just somebodies opinion. After the top two or three, the rest are just speculation and I feel that I can speculate with the best of them. I could switch Duhaupas with any of the gents you named in the rankings and it wouldn't matter because his record is just as good as theirs. Knockouts do not determine a fighters skill level, only his power level.

I'm here to balance it out. 99% of the forum already hates him. :yep

    Too many hate comments nowadays.

They don't give him the props he so richly deserves!

Duhaupas never fought those guys but I would give him just as good a shot at beating them as I do Takam and Jennings. Question, why did you lump all those guys together as if Jennings and Takam both beat them all? Like I said, their win lost record is no better than Duhaupas and that's a fact. As for Wilder, I believe all the guys you just named would have folded under the shots that he delivered on Duhaupas. Wilder may not have it all together as yet but he has the makings of a great champion. Time will tell.

You are re****ed. Please look up what it means when someone says "respectively."

As for Duhaupas beating Thompson or Perez- they are guys who earned their spots by beating other contenders. Duhauaps has beaten no one except for long ago and recently again discredited Charr. YOU may believe he is some kind of contender, but there is no evidence to back that up. In fact, let us clear this up- he is not.

Wilder struggled with another bum because he is a fraud.

    to quote:

"9. Duhapuas will outbox him. It is a myth that you have to crack his chin to beat Wilder- his boxing skills are stiff, basic and flailing. Duhapuas has skills and a good enough chin to withstand Teper, so I think he will win comfortably"

    So you underestimated Wilder?

no one beats no one these days to get a shot.
who did wilder beat to get his shot at the vacant title? no one

who did haye beat to get a shot at the big oaf Valuev? no one

who did thompson beat to get his second crack at wlad? 24-14 Maurice Harris or Paul Marinaccio?

quit making it sound like some kind of novelty

Wow I must say I'm impressed by your dedication.....it isnt every day you see such passion towards may we say constructive criticism with that said your still off base though I don't have the time or the patience to argue opinions when your clearly far from providing wilder the benefit of any doubt. One point I will make is how do you argue Wilber's physical gifts as if they aren't present or its all an illusion that's denial to the 5th degree. I've only seen such staunch critiicism from folks that sub consciously fear their assumptions will and can be proven wrong. On another matter I've boxed for years trained with former bantam weight champ joe the snake ingrasmi I've sparred and sceen much I respect your thoughts just don't agree

Check this out, I gives no fk who Thompson or Perez beat. I looked at their records and saw no helluva wins. I said and I will say again. Duhaupas's win/ loss record is just as good as thiers. Now that's a fact. For that matter, Duhaupas put up a better fight than Stiverne and he is ranked higher than both their asses. Also I think that Wilder would have knocked out Perez and Thompson with those shots. Now I don't mind debating an issue in boxing but all that re**** smack. You can fold that shiit up and sit on it because I haven't referred to you in no negative terms.

TS, You predicted Duhaupas would outbox Wilder. He proved you wrong yet again. Has he earned some of your respect yet??

You probably predicted Stiverne would beat Wilder as well.

Wilder did a much better job than Teper and we all know Teper has heavy hands. Wilder rocked Duhapas several times and got the late TKO. Teper couldn't dent Duhaupas and they were fighting toe to toe.

Obviously this is true. You want to cheer Wilder for reasons that have nothing to do with boxing (not speculating) and reality is just not going to get in your way. As for Duhaupas putting up a better fight, yes, Stiverne is a guy who gets beat by Demetrice King in 4. Neither are top 20 heavyweights.

The problem is that in one breath you tell me I am off base, fallaciously tell me that I need to give him the benefit of the doubt (there is no doubt in my mind after five years), and that I doubt my own oppinions, in a second breath tell me you don't have time to argue it, and in a third tell me that you respect my oppinion.

Look, going beyond boxing here for a moment, you have employed two very silly logical fallacies.

    1) When you say things like you can tell that I sub consiously fear being proven wrong, you are creating for yourself what is called a "non-disprovable theory." It is flat out stupid and something that you are doing to comfort yourself. The situation is exactly the opposite of what you are describing- you are a bit psycologically weak on your own position.

    2) Claiming that you are a boxer and those who doubt Wilder don't know boxing is called "appeal to authority" or "special plee." They are also recognized as foolish lines of reasoning. As much as you would like to believe it, the majority of people that agree with me to one degree or another are not all non-boxers who just don't see that special thing in him. Life doesn't work that way.

He accomlished absolutely nothing. When you set a low bar, you get no credit. Wilder picked a second low-ranked bum, gave him five weeks to train, and still got his eyes deformed for his trouble. He should be ashamed. Wilder needs to fight Wlad, Povetkin, or at least a top ten contender and then he gets credit. Until then, it is just degress of failure.
