Was just mulling over in my head what does Clottey bring to the party as a potential dangerous opponent for Pac !!!!!

Lets look at it , he's bigger has a better reach and when he tucks up his defence is solid !!!!!

But thats it , i dont see Clottey landing anything meaningfull on Pac and i dont see anything other Pacquiao doing at will what he wants to Clottey , does anyone else see this going any differently , please share !!!!!!

Pac will break his body in the first half, rain punches to his head in the second half once Clottey is wounded, then the ref will save Clottey round about the 11th. It will be one-sided because Clottey just doesn't have the class to deal with someone as good as Pac. He's too basic.

People seem to confuse Clottey with Juan Urango

To be honest I never liked this fight and liked it even less when Clotteys coach was denied a visa. I just cannot imagine this fight being competitive, he couldn't finish ANY of his big fights no way he is seeing Pac, No way!

:-( Clottey has a controversial decision loss to Miguel Cotto. As much as I respect Cotto and I will always be a fan, it could of been a draw to be fair. If Clottey had gone on to receive that decision instead of Cotto, do you think he still would not be a worthy opponent? If anything, despite his very close losses to Cotto and Margarito, Clottey has been improving and may still improve. I still don't expect him to win, but I also don't expect it to be easy for Pac. Clottey has been known to come in at 160 on fightnight. No weight draining here senor! So that also makes it interesting to me. Clottey is not an easy fight for no one, and by that I mean for Mosley, Mayweather, Berto, or any other WW.

Clottey is a fantastic inside fighter with some of the most accurate punches this side of Mayweather Jr. He's a great counterpuncher with perhaps not one punch ko power but enough to keep you on your toes lest he knock you on your ass. Clottey is fundamentally solid, lot more than most guys in the sport. Imo he should have won the Cotto fight and was winning the Margarito fight up until he hurt his hand. Clottey's star never rose but that doesn't mean he is not a top name at welter who could upset any stars apple cart. I see Clottey more dangerous for Pacman than Cotto was.

Only way Clottey wins is if he catches Pac sleeping.

Try good skills, fast hands and good power on top of what you said.

i think that's exactly what he's going to be. his punch output is going to be very low (especially compared to pac's) and he's going to cover up the whole fight even more than he usually does. its a fighter who fights in spurts vs. a fighter who fights the whole 12. like most, i think clottey's only chance is to catch pac sleeping and there's a very, very low probability that's going to happen.

Clottey is gonna shell his hands up and Pac's gonna hit him nonstop. As soon as he lowers those hands to retaliate BOOM HEADSHOT

    He otulanded Cotto.

Everyone is so quick to talk about his punch output, but he is so accurate, he outlands all of his ppponents. Every single one except Margarito...:good

You have a lot to learn. I hope Freddie Roach thinks its that simple.
