Come on now. His arm is fully healed now, omg!! They said it would take 9-12 months and after a good bathing in the salt water, it's miraculous healed. I called this like a few months ago.

This might be the funniest injury excuse of all time, surpassing that of Haye's toe injury, Tim Bradley's socks, Wlad being poisoned, Foreman being poisoned etc etc.

No, I don't believe it, it's up there in the list of bad excuses with mayweathers 'dehydration' excuse for the IV. Awful.

9 months to 1 year TO GET BACK IN THE RING do you get it?

So if he fights in feb or march that would be 10/11 months

Let me guess... but you believe Floyd was dehydrated and could barely stand so he needed illegal IV in his home right?

enumerate evidences (circumstantial or not) of pac being injured and floyd being extremely dehydrated during training camp first and then we decide?

Don't think it's a reason for the loss but I do think it was legit.

    Naw I don't think it's real..

I mean I believe that he injured his right shoulder rotary cuff in the past... however I don't think he serious injured just before the fight or during.

And this is coming from a guy who enjoys watching Manny Pacquiao fights.

I wish Manny and Floyd would have fought way back though..
I always think they would have fought different from the way they fought May 2nd...

I'd rather believe in santa. Santa's way more real than this injury.

    Is this a real thread???

Of course it's real, but I wish Pac would have tried some alternative methods before getting surgery.

And by the way, some of you don't understand what a rotator cuff tear is like. If it's a partial tear, you can still perform, but obviously you won't be able to perform at the peak of your capabilities.

From purely psychological point of view I can see him lying. He was fooling aroung at the press-conference and weigh-in, smiling and laughing, and then doing selfie with Roach making their way to the ring, while Floyd looked far more focused and concerned.

I don't believe anyone, even Pacquiao, can behave like that knowing that he's going to fight the most crafty opponent of his carrer having a severe injury. Also, he didn't mention anything in the very post-fight interview with Lederman apart from crying that he won the fight. Given the subsequent obscure story of his recovery, no - I'm not buying that injury.

Additionally, there was no indication of Manny's injury here, while Lomachenko was suspended for minor right hand injury noone even noticed during his fight with Rodriguez. Here's a link I'm refering to: http://boxing.nv.gov/uploadedFiles/boxingnvgov/content/results/2015_Results/05-02-15.pdf
