How can some people still buy into the "Money" Mayweather mystique and maintain that he'll beat everybody out there when he simply has refused and continues to refuse to fight the best, most meaningful fights that can be made in boxing. The true P4P kings in my opinion are the guys take risks in the ring by challenging themselves and daring to be great. Marquez for example deserves far more credit for fighting Floyd than Floyd does for fighting him given the natural size difference between the two. The extent that Fraud's deluded fans defend him with Floyd having proved so little since beating Corrales at 130lbs, amazes me. The guy is a cancer in the sport and represents everything that is wrong with boxing. I only pray that he finally grows a pair and fights either Pacquiao, Cotto or Mosely....but something tells me that those guys aren't easy pickings enough for Floyd so he'll more than likely pursue a rematch either DLH or Hatton once he gets past Marquez in would could be the snoozefest of the year.
Floyd represents everything thats right with the sport. He's one the few out there that still fights with skill and technique. He's faced 39 challenges and overcome them all. Meanwhile you have cowards and pussies like Margarito loading his gloves, and Shane taking steroids. And you have two faced promoters like Arum saying one thing and then doing another. these are the guys who are wrong with the sport. Steroid Shane ducked Floyd twice saying his tooth hurt (awwww) and that he wanted to be with his family. ( I guess it better then getting your ass whooped.) Arum wouldn't let Cotto get anywhere near Floyd after he destroyed Gatti in 2005 saying he was too green. they had their chance and were scared. You can't blame Floyd for not sitting around waiting on them. Pacquiao will get his soon enough if his scary ass promoter doens't price himself out of the fight.
Lmao at The Floyd Fan bringing up something today that IN COURT proved Shane was and IS telling the truth about the roids. How come Conte wants ALL this thrown out all of a sudden? In my 10 years as a prosecutor I have NEVER seen a judge Orally tell a plaintiff to "stick it" like that. That being said by the judge speaks VOLUMES about Conte and his claims. Most judges wait and write an opinion to the Jury etc. This is done when IT IS OBVIOUS that one of the parties is LYIN. That's it. Floyd has some of the best skills I've ever seen but I can't consider him to be anything special because he refuses to fight anyone who is on his own level. Hell he won't even fight fighters who are 1 level below him. It's mediocre ****s like Gatti and Baldomir, sure bets in other words. There is so much talk on here about mere good fighters who lost everytime they stepped up but that's a lot more respectable than winning against inferior competition everytime...no **** he didn't lose, he wasn't supposed too. I'm pissed about it because the fans lose out on good match ups and the sport would be in better shape.
