Charlos lol. Lara would have no chance but lucky for him the fight is unmakeable:

Lara's manager: "HBO would have to speak with Lara adviser Al Haymon, but we are very happy fighting on Showtime"

Ever seen those tshirts "I want GGG, but not next"?

Lara is indeed stronger and more sturdy than Floyd .

The only reason Mayweather stood in front of Canelo was because Canelo never gave him a reason to move in the first place . He was hellbent on proving to Floyd he can beat him at his own game and just box . Floyd picked up on that and therefore he felt safe .

No pressure , no smothering , no swarming NOTHING .

He knew without a doubt he could not pull that with Lara whos even a stronger boxer than Floyd , and took the fight to him and honestly Canelo still lost that fight . Pretty much everyone says he didn't win that fight .

He was just too ineffective .

Majority of bodywork not landing clean , swinging wildly out of frustration and hittin nothing but air .

Lara could not handle Canelo ?

    Lara simply outclassed Canelo .

Floyd was bothered with Chinos offense alone and nearly got taken out by 1 punch . He fought as if he wanted the fight to be over already . Came out of the rematch once again lookin banged up just like the first fight .

Yet hes going to keep Golovkin honest with his hard punches as you say ?

I highly, highly doubt that .

Canelo came out trying to box Lara as well once he saw Lara's gameplan was to just stay away and play tag he made an adjustment and started to pressure him. As far as the result every poll I've seen more had Canelo winning than not, I thought he did clearly 7-5 close but clear.

How was Canelo outclassed because he missed some shots vs a fighter who did nothing but run for half the fight? It's a reason most of the people who scored the fight for Lara said they had no problem with Canelo winning because Lara didn't do **** but jab & jog. Off the top of my head Canelo won rds 2,4,5,7,8,9, & 12 that's 7 right there that are easily Canelo rds.

As far as how Mayweather and Lara matchup with GGG at 154 I'd give Floyd a much bigger chance. He didn't get busted open by the first real head shot Canelo landed like Lara did, and he didn't start running when Canelo landed some hard body shots like Lara did. Floyd is way better offensively than Lara and actually mixes up punches, fight's going forward, backward, inside and out Lara just jabs and runs straight left and run most of his punches are touch jabs.

You bring up Mayweather-Maidana Floyd actually fought Maidana in fight I and in spots in fight II Lara would of ran the whole fight. You also bring up facial damage when Lara gets beaten up more in an average fight than Floyd has his entire career.
Mayweather fought Maidana and left with a scratch and a swollen lip Lara ran from Canelo and left with a cut up eye.

    LOL

What Ward fights have you been watching? Ward is an *excellent* out-boxer. Only someone completely clueless about boxing would suggest he doesn't work well behind his jab.

I didn't realize there were 152lb and 166lb divisions in boxing. When did this happen?

    What "boxing skills"?

Triple Duck looks good against a string of TOMATO CANs and all of a sudden he's the reincarnation of Willie Pep?

    Stop smoking the crack...

I think the 152lb catch weight had something to do with that...

You can run and still win a fight , if its you who landing more and making your opponent miss which is exactly what Lara did .

Lara landed more punches compared to Canelo , therefore Canelo cant say all Lara did was run from him so that argument is dismissed .

The only argument someone can make for Canelo was his bodywork and that's it.

Even that was not landing clean . He swinging out of frustration and was running into 1,2s from Lara .

The only reason Canelo won that robbery is because of his popularity . Theres not a lot of popular fighters in boxing nowadays . He brings a lot of money to boxing and is the more exciting fighter between the 2 which I agree with because Lara style turns me off and I don't look forward to seeing him fight again no time soon... yet his style truly is effective and even I have to admit that .

Floyd SR said it himself he looked worse against Lara compared to Floyd .

BTW even with Laras cut eye , Floyd still looked worse than him at the end of the fight

Swollen nose with a bit of a blood , swollen lip . He looked more beaten up than Chino who looked like he came back from a walk in the park .

Dude Canelo and Lara landed basically the same amount of punches at the same percentage, all published scores are also 52/48% in favor of Canelo, only difference is the majority of Lara's shots were jabs and all of Canelo's were power shots.

In a fight as close as that as far as stats other things come into play, Canelo forced the fight and Lara did his hardest to avoid engaging. I don't care how much you miss if all you do is back up and don't throw punches the guy pushing the action gets the rd.

Maybe if he let his hands go more he could have won but then again if he fought back he probably would have got dropped. Time and again we have seen when hit Lara is easily cut & dropped. Now we can agree to disagree but acting like that fight was some robbery is false a close 50/50 fight maybe but a robbery no.
