Nope - I would like to see Cotto-De la Hoya - think it would be an interesting fight. Oscar had problems with Floyd's speed - Cotto doesn't carry that type of speed - so I think it would be a very interesting match. And I don't neccessarily take Cotto to win this fight. Especially knowing that Floyd Sr. will be back in Oscar's corner. Let Williams, Clottey, Collazo, Margarito, & Cintron all fight each other. Shane & Oscar will only fight another year or so - let them get what's left in their systems out - then the younger guys can step in and fill the void. Mayweather and Cotto will dominate for the next couple of years - but the competition for Floyd is damn near none.
I can't knock Cotto for trying to get paid but I would LOVE to see him cave Margarito's ribs in so we never have to hear that bum's name again!
I think Cotto is gonna knock Oscar out. Bad move if DelaHoya takes it. He's going to get beat up badly. The whole point in Cotto fighting DelaHoya is to make a case for fighting Mayweather and to push Mayweather into a fight by demand of the fans and the boxing guru's. Especially if Cotto can knock him out which Mayweather never came close to doing.
