For me Herrera was controlling the whole fight and dictating the action i had him winning.

But one thing is for sure Garcia needs to give Herrera a rematch i'm sure we could agree on that as you said it was extremely close.

I think most observers felt Herrera won a close but very clear decision. That's how I saw it too.

    Danny won.
    Herrara is garbage.
    He fought like garbage.
Danny kept cool and did what he had to to win.

Danny career is on the move. Danny has no desire to avenge victories. Danny has recommended that nuthuggers seek therapy

punch stats are a pretty tricky thing given that they're so open to human error. That said, I never actually bothered to look up the punch stats, they were indeed close.

Herrera had a significant edge in jabs and Garcia a significant edge in power shots.

Herrera won. This is old news. Lucas ruined Garcia, so swift cannot face punchers anymore. Lucas would hang him in a rematch.

That's how full of **** you are .

When it came to Provodnikov vs Algieiri .

You quickly said "Yeah Ruslan lost that fight , without a doubt "

Yet you say Garcia beat Herrera !?!?

Garcia in his fight had nowhere near the same success that Ruslan had in his fight .

Ruslan did more damage to Algeiri than Garcia did to Herrera .

Ruslan landed more harder effective punches in his fight compared to Garcia in his fight .

Ruslan floored Algieiri not once but 2x , He scored 2 KNOCKDOWNS ! !

Garcia never came close to dropping Herrera , He did not even make Herrera blink with anything he landed (which was barely anything at all )

Ruslan hurt Algeiri multiple times , and rattled him with clean effective powerpunches

Yet You claim you score fights to who lands the more telling , heavier blows .

Which is exactly what Ruslan did against Algeiri , yet you still had him losing his fight on your scorecard .

Evidently that way of scoring only applies to which ever fighter YOU personally favor which makes you biased .

Once again , you are the ONLY person in ESB that Had Garcia winning against Herrera . You are alone .

No way in hell you can say Garcia beat Herrera but then say Provodnikov lost to Algeiri .

That absolutely does not make sense looking at both fighters performances .

  11. Scored it 114-114 myself. Could have honestly seen it scored either way (though 116-112 Garcia is ridiculous). The rounds Herrera won were way more decisive than the rounds I gave to Garcia.

Not terribly impressed with Danny , and seemingly neither is Puerto Rico. Wish Herrera had a little more power, as he was never going to knock him out and the open scoring sucked all of the drama out of it. I can’t stand open scoring, it’s the worst thing ever and I can’t believe it exists.

Also if we are going to have open scoring they need to do a better job of telling us what’s going on. At one point Al Bernstein made it seem like all of the judges had scored Danny by 4 rounds after 8 and I don’t think that got totally clarified until like the 11th round. Everything about the open scoring was annoying and terrible and an assault on the sport and it needs to be banished like Roman Polansky.

I wonder if he had won without the controversy if we would be watching Mayweather vs Garcia this weekend.

Now that Broner has moved up the WBC rankings beating #12 Taylor.....it could potentially get Danny one more easy on at 140. Then he could unify with Peterson, become undisputed without being threatened.

Then he could go up to 147 and take a few easy ones before targeting a 37 y/o Pacqioua coming off his 3 wins over Mayweather.:think
