Lets place in order the following fighters in your all time heavyweight rankings:

    Larry Holmes
    Greg Page
    Tim Witherspoon
    Pinklon Thomas
    Mike Weaver
    Michael Dokes
    Gerrie Coetzee

I have no problem saying that Holmes ranks far and away the highest in all time rankings. How do you rate them all time ?

I know, and if you look at the overall percentage of posts, it's a bit disturbing that most of the threads are about the same regurgitated champions & media darlings... like boxing never offered any others.

there are sooooooo many greats, known & unknown and it's a shame we don't put them in their appropriate slots among their known peers.

I rank on a fairly complex but accurate system that in addition to boxing skill takes into account skin tone, muslce measurements, limb ratio, hair sytle, and musical tastes. Coetzee was a HUGE Coltrane fan.

    Gerrie Coetzee
    Pinklon Thomas
    Greg Page
    Tim Witherspoon
    Larry Holmes
    Mike Weaver

Why JT ? Time and again you're building a case that Holmes ducked them all or had great excuses for performances ... just trying to see how they rank ..

Can I use this as my campaign slogan? It is by far the most beautiful piece of poetry I've ever read on these boards.

    Hey, he's #2

You must of have forgot Coetzee was a pioneer of electronic dance music and did some keyboard playing for Valuev's legendary 1990 African Tour.."Live Forever Free".

Can we at least agree that the "Live Forever Free" tour is the greatest moment in music history? Funk's greatest victory in the war against poverty and oppression.
