Lets dabble into the Floyd Hater mentality for a moment, just a dabble...

    Example:

    1. Miguel Cotto fighting a Zab Judah that hadnt fought in a year is considered risky. Floyd Mayweather fighting a still belt holding Zab Judah in one of his first fights at 147 is considered cherry picking.

    2. A 27 year old Miguel Cotto fighting a 36 year old Sugar Shane Mosley is considered risky. A 30 year old Mayweather fighting a 33 year old Oscar at 154 is considered cherry picking.

Am I right or am I right?

    wrong on both counts.

The Judah fight made sense for Cotto at that point in his career. It was a step up in opposition and it also gave us a chance to compare his ability to Floyd's a little bit, and he passed the test quite well. I rate both PBF's and Cotto's wins over Zab Judah as very good wins.

Mosley that Cotto fought would have beaten the Oscar that FLoyd fought handily. How can you bring up Zab's inactivity as a factor and then omit it when talking about ODLH in the very same post? At least Zab was training while he was inactive and had some fights scheduled and got in a professional ring 2 months before the Cotto fight. Not only was ODLH inactive for a year but he wasn't even training for a large portion of that time, and before that his fight was against another inactive fighter in Mayorga.

The fact that ODLH couldn't make 147 while Mosley did is evidence that Mosley was simply in better shape than Oscar.

I dont know who's more pitiful. The guy who made the lame joke, or the guy who laughed at it.

De La Hoya isn't better than Mosley, his stamina fails him, lost a lot recently, fights on an annual basis and switched to a new trainer.

No, you're just a child who looks at things in an overly simplistic manner. If you really have to ask these, looking for a serious answer, just flat out state you're a newbie and want to know more about the sport. Don't come here as just another teeny bopper Mayweather apologist who thinks stating his resume over and over in threads equals an intelligent post. You're a ****in parrot like the other little kids who've come and left once they realized they were in over their heads. But I reckon you'll post a while, saying the same thing over and over, engaging more in insults the facts, before you realize you really can't compete.

I never said the fight didnt make sense for Cotto or that it was a bad win. My contention is that if you count Zab Judahs win as a good win for Cotto, it invariably is also a good win for Floyd. You see this post therefore wouldnt be targeted at you, since you have sense. Cotto was nearly a decade Mosleys junior. Not nearly the age difference between Floyd and Oscar.

Mosley beats Oscar handily? Are you sure about that? Mosley was slow, lacked defense, and was winded by the middle rounds. In my estimation I have the Oscar who lost to Floyd beating Cotto at 147.

Moving on again I dont believe either fight measures higher then the other in terms of competition. However your assertion that Zab, who is a much better 140lb fighter fighting a guy in Cotto who is a more natural 147lb fighter, add to the fact Zab hadnt fought a real professional fight in nearly a year, that fight being against Floyd Mayweather who he lost to by a wide margin, in comparison to an Oscar who hadnt fought in a year but was a brutal KO of Mayorga for the championship belt. Especially the fight taking place at Floyds 5th weight class, it is higher in my estimation. Much higher.

Didnt I already school you and send you running for your mama's tit in another thread? Back for more? Infact I've seen you periodically destroyed by everyone you've tried to engage your tiny brain in a discussion with. Dont fret son, it takes balls to take that constant punishment. :thumbsup

Are all boxers on the same level to you? A simple answer will suffice.

Mosley is 2-0 vs. DLH. Not to mention he's been WAAY more active. You do realize what being active does for your skill right?

Whether you think DLH beats Cotto is irrelevent, since you have not shown one iota of ability to judge a fight. You're a fanboy. NOthing you say will be taken serious, but hey, the other fanboys wil love you.

Back to my original question. DO YOU hold all fighters as equals?
