Didnt call them that, and if you learn how to read you would see that I said there isnt but one guy who was in their prime that would be hatton.
Judah well let me explain knocked the **** out by KT, Lost to Spinks, Lost to Baldimor, biggest career win was over the Spinks but it took him two fights to do that.
DLH the mother ****er was past his prime and Floyd barley ekked out the win there single point SD over a older DLH.
you can argue judah was in his prime, but he is nothing more than a B level at his best, that is a fact. A level fighters do not lose to Baldimor nor do they lose to spinks.

Both Mayweather and Jones whilst great, are guilty of making sure there was a fair distance between themselves and the elite competion.

    Wrong.

BERNARD HOPKINS. JAMES TONEY. A HEAVYWEIGHT WORLD CHAMPION.

How many HOFers at their peak did Mayweather fight???

Pac is good but let's not get carried away he lost to EM lost to JMM in the rematch and got a gift. Not to mention in the P4P sense he would be soundly beaten by PBF he has problems with counter-punchers. If Pac goes on to beat Juan Diaz, Guzman or Campbell moves up to challenge Hatton then you can talk until then he has a bunch of wins over older fighters like MAB and EM.

BTW PBF is the GOAT at 130 and is a stylistic nightmare for Arguello at 130 he was a boxing god at that weight.:deal

Called them low level and still picked Oscar to KO PBF. That right there tells you all you need to know.:-(

Then that means Floyd lost to Castillo in their first fight, got a draw in the rematch, and lost to DLH in that fight:bart

None of those guys were prime? Judah?Hatton?Corley?

And i liked how you call Zab, DLH and Hatton Low level competiton. Good Job :good

They were at their primes yes, but they are not elite level opposition. RJJ fought Toney & Hopkins. Do Judah and Corley compare? Clearly, they do not. And Hatton could not cope at welter, that was blindingly obvious in the Collazo fight. PBF took that fight coz he knew that, he knew Cotto coped with the weight much better at 147 and would be a much tougher task.

Seriously mate, is that your defence of Floyd Mayweather?? That says it all really.

And Pacquiao fought a peak Barrera in their 1st fight, a peak/near-peak Morales in their 1st and 2nd fight, and a peak Marquez twice.

Who has PBF fought as good as those three??? Same answer- zero.

well you side stepped the question, "was floyd and cotto considered equals and was there a double standard , compared when floyd fought Zab compared to when cotto fought Zab"?

and lets be honest Cotto fighting margarito is only a step up over what floyd did at 147 compared to cotto, only because Arum hyped margarito so much as the most feared fighter at 147 , and if cotto beats margarito which I think he will , he will be only the second man to beat Margarito since he gained the 147 WBO strap.

Hypothetically speaking if floyd had fought and beat margarito and also became only the second man to beat margarito at 147 after he gained the 147 WBO strap how much credit would he have gotten for doing so ??

Also everyone is giving Cotto credit for beating shane , the same shane the opted not to fight floyd but have his tooth/spend time with his family .. Why so many so quick to sweep that issue under the rug as though it never happened.?

This is the double standard that floyd fan talk about that Floyd nay sayer seem to want to forget ever happened.
