Let's dabble into the Floyd Lover mentality, just a dabble...

Let's not overcomplicate this....Mawyeather was a FANTASTIC 130-135 pounder. Speed, power and was an exciting fighter in those days. After he moved to 140 he took the road of least resistance. This is undebatable! I could write out a big long explaination but you all know the truth.

I agree with this, I genuinely do. But that's my point- was his short career at 130-135lbs where he beat good (but not great) fighters (he was favourite for every single one of these fights), is this sufficient evidence for him to be an ATG? I don't think so.

why discredit his win against hatton and then praise hopkins wins over de la hoya and trinidad for the same reasons u just discredited floyds win over hatton...hatton was an undefeated top 10 p4p fighter a good win and can you honestly say after watching that fight the outcome would be any different at 140

:rofl Because he has no idea what he's talking about. He called Floyds performance against Oscar in his 5th weight class, lazy and lathargic. Come on, dont take what this fool says seriously.

What does being the favorite have to do with anything? PBF right now would still be favored over any fighter 154 and down Cotto inlcuded.:deal
If PBF isn't an ATG then neither is Pac, Tito, MAB or Oscar.

I'm not discrediting it, it was a good performance and a good win. I'm just saying that beating a guy fighting at a weight he cannot cope with is not exactly the stuff legends are made of. How can you compare PBF beating Hatton at 147 with Hopkins beating Trinidad at middle?? In Hatton's other fight at the weight he was terrible v the mediocre Collazo. In Trinidad's other fight at middle, he knocked out a world champion in stunnning fashion. And Felix Trinidad was a higher level fighter than Hatton, that must be acknowledged. He had achieved so much more.

3 wins 3 losses above 154.Nothing to write home about.

As i said in the beggining of the thread the ******* had an alterior motive as they always do and this is to suck on his dick a little more by shitting on everyone around him.

Not to mention Bhop was a much naturally larger man than trinidad where as pbf started his career at lower weight class than hatton. I would say hatton and pbf looked to be around the same size when they fought.

I agree with your second point 100%:good

I give up. I really tried to have a thread discussing the career of Floyd Mayweather that wouldn't get dragged into an argument about Manny Pacquiao. I failed. I know that this is because PBF fans know that really they can't defend his career path in the face of the facts, but having petty arguments about Pac when the thread is nothing to do with him becomes just too boring to continue. Over and out.

    DLH beat GH at 135.

Obviously GH didn't like that weight and never really fought at that weight again.
